Irene Baroni is no more, no she's not died but she has lost her chips to her fellow Italian Muhamet Perati. The chips went in preflop with Baroni holding
but needing some help from the board as Perati held
.
That help failed to materialise as the board ran out

and Baroni heads for the exits.

Kenny Hallaert's tournament is over and done, he's is out.
We heard him speaking to one of the dealers explaining how he had eights in against sevens and a third seven flopped, this left him with just 700 chips after paying the ante, not even enough to pay the big blind. The action folded around to Roberto Romanello in the small blind and he completed before showing
. Hallaert had not even checked his cards but was pleased when he did because they were
. The board ran out

and it was a split pot!
The very next hand Andrea Benelli opened to 2,000 from middle position and everyone folded to Hallaert who called off his stack. The big blind folded and Hallaert showed
, which were up against Benelli's
. The

flop put Hallaert into an early lead and the
improved him to two pair. However, the river was the
and Benelli improved to a hand-winning straight, eliminating Hallaert in the process.

Rupert Elder has

Easy game.

Eddie Playter has joined the long list of players who have busted with ace-king today.
Ramin Hajiyev opened to 2,100 from early position and was called Massimiliano Bellon Bellucci in the hijack before Playter thee-bet to 6,000 from the cut-off. Hajiyev folded but Bellucci called to see a

flop appear.
Playter continued for 9,000 and was quickly check-raised up to 21,000. The Canadian sat and thought, all the while with the look of a man who was going to three-bet shove for his remaining 70,000. He found the notion to do it and was called by his Italian opponent with the drawing
.
Playter was ahead with
but was powerless to the board running out
to make Bellucci a flush.

It was a blind on blind battle between Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree and former EPT London champion David Vamplew, Boeree check-called a bet of 4,300 on the flop of

and then another 8,500 on the
turn to see the
on the river, she then checked a third time and Vamplew made a sizeable bet of 23,300 on the river. Boeree snap-called and Vamplew showed
for the nuts to win a big pot.
Boeree was all in almost the very next hand for her final 7,400 with
against Michael Bonzon's
and survived a real sweat on the

board.
