Alessandro Minasi Eliminated in 16th Place (€20,000)

Fabrice Soulier is maintaining his place near the top of counts after he eliminated Alessandro Minasi.

The action folded around to Frenchman on the button and he raised and called when Minasi shoved from the big blind.

Soulier: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Minasi: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The board ran {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{5-Spades} to make Soulier two-pair.

Hajiyev And Botond Battling It Out

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Ramin Hajiyev and Balazs Botond have started to become quite active over on Table 2 and have clashed with each other on a number of occasions during the last orbit.

A couple of hands ago Botond opened from under the gun to 42,000, two players folded and Hajiyev made it 97,000 to play from the hijack seat. With the action back on Botond the Hungarian four-bet to 175,000 but instantly folded as Hajiyev moved all in.

The very next hand Hajiyev opened to 40,000 and Botond, now in the big blind, was his only customer. The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Botond check-called a 55,000 bet from his opponent. The turn brought the {10-Spades} into play and when Botond checked Hajiyev checked behind, taking the hand to the {8-Clubs} river. Botond now lead with a bet of 83,000 and Hajiyev made the call.

Botond: {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Hajiyev: Muck

This could be the start of a very interesting dynamic between the two, hold onto your hats folks!

Jean-Philippe Rohr Falls to De Visscher

Koen De Visscher is on a charge like he was on yesterday. He's knocked out another player in Jean-Philippe Rohr.

The action folded around to the Frenchman on the button and he shoved for his remaining 285,000. The Belgian was in the big blind and called after getting a count.

Rohr: {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
De Visscher: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

We're already at the halfway mark. Table three will now be broken amongst tables one and two. We'll bring you the refreshed table draw as soon as we have it.

Panagiotis Gavriulidis Busted By The In-Form De Visscher

The players are dropping like proverbial flies at the moment and we are now down to just 18 of them here in Campione.

The latest casualty was Panagiotis Gavriulidis who moved all in with his short-stack holding {7-Spades}{6-Spades} and Koen De Visscher made the call with {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}. The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Gavriulidis headed for the rail, via the cashier's cage of course.
