Risky Business
Nick Abou Risk is a double UKIPT champion and is now in the hunt a win in its bigger brother, the EPT. Just moments before catching Risk in a hand, the blogging team were talking about how Risk employs a high-risk/high reward strategy that has obviously done a lot of the latter.
We headed past Risk's table to see Elie El Feghali open to 425 in late position and that bet was raised to 1,025 by Mikhail Surin in the hijack. Next to act was Risk and the Canadian put in a four-bet to 2,525. This forced El Feghali to fold rather quickly, but Surin gave his actions much mroe thought. Eventually, he decided he was likely behind and released his hand.
