Mr Aces Hanging in There

This guy is still managing to hang in there while others bust around him. Better than that, he just managed a double up.

Mathias Will moved his last 21,500 in from under the gun and was called by Niklas Astedt in big blind.

Will: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Astedt: {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The board ran {6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} to see the five hold.

Wohlfart Axed By Sixes

Oliver Wohlfart was all in preflop for 62,000 and racing against Marian Kulifaj. The former held {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}} and was slightly behind the latter's {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Wohlfart seemed hopeful, but any hope he had was crushed when the {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} appeared on the flop and delivered Kulifaj a set of sixes.

The {4-Spades} turn officially left Wohlfart drawing dead, and after the {2-Hearts} completed the board, he took his leave from the 2012 PokerStars.net EPT Prague Main Event.

Min-Cashing

Ukranian Mauchev Ibraim limped into the money with just 7,000 chips. The PokerStars qualifier then folded the first four hands, in three he open-folded, and in one he folded to a raise.

In the fifth hand, he was the big blind. Marco Leonzio opened to 10,000 from under the gun, and the action folded to Ibraim, who called for less.

Leonzio: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Ibraim: {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and Ibraim was happily off to collect €8,000.

Chatzopoulos Exits With A Min-Cash

There's traditionally a flurry of eliminations after the bubble bursts as the short stacks loosen up, and it didn't take long for our first.

It happened when Martin Hanowski opened for 9,000 and then called 500 more when Apostolos Chatzopoulos shoved for 9,500.

Showdown
Hanowski: {A-Spades}{4-Spades}
Chatzopoulos: {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Chatzopoulos seemed hopeful that there would be a chop, and indeed there was a 43.62% of that happening. Unfortunately for Chatzopoulos, the {4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop paired Hanowski and gave him a big lead. Neither the {J-Spades} turn nor {J-Diamonds} river was the five that Chatzopoulos needed, and he exited the tournament to collect his €8,000 min-cash.
