Korotkikh Catches An Ace On The Turn

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On a flop reading {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and with 5,000 in the pot, Russia's Mikhail Korotkikh moved all-in from the small blind for 11,075 with what turned out to be {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. His sole opponent, Jorge Ufano, was seated to his direct left and he took little time in deciding to call with his {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

Ufano looked delighted to get his stack in as a substantial favorite, but the look on his face soon changed when the {a-Spades} fell on the turn. The {3-Spades} completed the board and Korotkikh rose from his seat and vocally announced his delight at winning the hand in his native tongue.
