Under the new EPT rules, you're allowed to register up to the start of Day 2 which gives the players a wealth of options in terms of how they want to start the tournament. At the moment, players are still trickling into the tournament area while the Super High Roller is about to start on the feature table.
On the turn of a board, Jeff Sarwer, [Removed:17] and Tomeu Gomila all checked to see the on the river. Sarwer and Yan checked again and Gomila made a 1,000 stab at the pot (which had over 2,000 already in it). Sarwer made the call and Yan folded.
Season 10 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour features a new Player of the Year system powered by the Global Poker Index. Players will be able to accumulate points in all events throughout Season 10, regardless of the buy-in level. In addition, all of the Festival Events (Estrellas, UKIPT, Eureka, FPS, IPT) that combine with an EPT tour stop will be eligible for POY points.
The winner of this season’s award will walk away with €50,000 in Main Event buy-ins, good for any PokerStars or Full Tilt sponsored event.

Dan Shak opened to 275 from under the gun, and the action folded to Panu Miettinen, who called on the button. Both blinds released, the dealer fanned , and Shak led out for 450. Miettinen called.
The turn was the , and Shak lead out again - this time for 1,000. Miettinen paused before raising to 3,300, and not backing down, Shak re-raised to 8,000.
Sorel Mizzi had bet 6,500 on the river of a board only for the button to move all in for a total of 18,700. Mizzi opted to fold after a few minutes thought. His opponent showed a missed to add insult to injury.
Martin Staszko opened for a raise in late position, and found three callers, including Mike Watson out of the small blind. The flop fell , Staszko continued for 600, and only Watson called.
Both players checked it down as the board completed , , and the Canadian flipped over for nines and fours.
Staszko unhappily mucked his hand, and after losing a few other pots is down to 20,200.
With around 4,000 in the middle, Sorel Mizzi tossed out 3,800 on a board of . His opponent tanked for a bit, then mucked his hand. Mizzi's up to 32,500 chips.
On an adjacent table, Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov was faced with a river bet of 3,125 on a board of . He folded as well, dipping to 28,500 chips.
