Kitty Kuo
Kitty Kuo

Kitty Kuo open-shoved for 100,000 in the hijack, Jamil Kanji called out of the small blind, and the big blind released.

Kanji said he called "light," showing {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, and Kuo happily turned over {a-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Kuo held up as the board came {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}, and doubled to 213,000 chips. Kanji fell to 575,000.

Bendik Like Beckham

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Jan Bendik
Jan Bendik

Jan Bendik, the current EPT Player of the Year, has just doubled up. He was shoved on by Neophytos Neophytou and quickly called with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Neophytou showed {Q-Clubs}{3-Spades} and couldn't improve on a {K-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} board.

Seven Figures For Kozlov

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

On a {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop we caught the last part of the betting action, as Daniel Reijmer called 78,000 total with 25,000 out in front of him. The Dutchman was seated to the direct left of chip leader Martin Kozlov and it seemed like he had been check-raised on the flop.

The turn brought the {7-Hearts} and Kozlov bet 225,000 which put Reijmer all in. The Dutchman announced he was all in and the cards were turned face up.

Reijmer: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Kozlov: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

Reijmer was looking for the last remaining ten, but the river brought the {3-Clubs}. Reijmer was knocked out and that means Paul Berende is the last remaining Dutch player.

Weinman Doubles Through Rodriguez, Wears Incredibly Odd Hat

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Daniel Weinman said, "Wait! Let me put on my lucky hat."

The American was all in with {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} against Luis Rodriguez {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and proceeded to dig into his bag and procure a rather large odd looking piece of grey clothing which he put on his head.

In truth, it looked like a giant pair of grey underpants turned upside down.

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Weinman doubled up. Rodriguez was left with barely 15,000 and busted in the very next hand.

Moseley Doubles, Laidlaw Done

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Andy Moseley moved all in before the flop from the button and he was called by Daniel Laidlaw in the big blind. Moseley was all in for 139,000 and Laidlaw had him covered by about 40,000.

Moseley: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Laidlaw: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Moseley doubled up. Laidlaw was left behind with very little chips and the very next hand he was all in for his tournament life. Moseley raised from the cutoff to 13,000 and called Laidlaw's shove from the small blind.

Moseley: {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Laidlaw: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and Laidlaw was granted another chance in this event. His joy didn't last long as one hand later he was all in again. This time he was up against Steven Warburton, one of the tournament chip leaders.

Warburton: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Laidlaw: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} and this time it was all over for Laidlaw. Both Warburton and Moseley took some of his chips while we are down 57 players.

Vamplew Loses Race; Busts

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
David Vamplew - Eliminated
David Vamplew - Eliminated

The only European Poker Tour winner remaining, EPT7 London winner David Vamplew was all in and at risk preflop for 177,000 holding {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Wai Kin Yong had him at risk with {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, and Vamplew remained ahead on a flop of {7-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

The turn was the {j-Clubs}, giving Yong a leading pair, and the {10-Spades} completed the board.

With Vamplew's exit, there will be yet another new EPT champion.
