Spittles Falls to Christoforou

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Ryan Spittles
Ryan Spittles

"All in and a call," we heard the dealer yell from a nearby table. We made our way over just in time to find Ryan Spittles all in and at risk against Andreas Christoforou.

Christoforou: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Spittles: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Christoforou seemed more nervous than Spittles despite being ahead. The {3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop seemed to calm his nerves a little bit, but Spittles did pick up a wheel draw. The {6-Hearts} turn made the wheel draw obsolete as a four would result in a chopped pot, but that didn't happen as the {2-Clubs} blanked on the river. Spittles missed and was sent to the rail in 60th place.

Meanwhile, Andrey Danilyuk, Dmitry Yurasov and Clement Thumy have all been eliminated from the tournament.

The final two cards were {j-Hearts} {q-Hearts}. And Lundmark was out.

Big Slick Good for Andler

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Action folded to Maximilian Senft on the button and he raised to 25,000. Christopher Andler then shoved all in from the small blind for 273,000, the big folded and then Senft made the call after a few moments of consideration.

Senft: {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Thomas called and Danchev folded. It took several minutes to play out as Cuberos took his time when the action was on him, but they both eventually checked it down on a board of {10-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Danchev won with {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} against the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} of Cuberos.

Ace on the River Saves Duta

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Over at the secondary feature table, a big pot was created after Clement Thumy got his stack of 289,000 all in preflop and was up against Florian-Dimitrie Duta.

Duta held the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and was in dire straits against the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} of Thumy. The {3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop was dry for Duta, though the {5-Spades} river gave him a wheel draw. Duta needed either an ace or deuce on the river to stay alive, and he found one when the {a-Hearts} spiked.

Duta doubles to over 50 big blinds while Thumy was knocked down to just 17,000.
