The Stadler

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Alexander Stadler was all in and risk with {a-Spades}{3-Spades} on a flop of {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades}. Pascal Vos held two pair with {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

Neither the turn ({j-Hearts}) nor the river ({4-Hearts}) were a spade, and Stadler was eliminated. Vos now sits with 690,000 chips.

Buddiga's Stack Increases

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Sebastian Trisch opened to 12,000 from early position and action folded around to the table to Pratyush Buddiga in the cutoff. Buddiga three-bet to 28,800 and it folded back to Trisch who called.

The flop brought {5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Trisch checked. Buddiga continued out for 26,000 and Trisch stuck around. The {7-Hearts} hit the turn and Trisch checked again. Buddiga checked it back and the {a-Spades} fell on the river. Two more checks prompted Buddiga to table {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Trisch mucked his hand and Buddiga took down the pot. He's now sitting on 725,000.

Haigh Maker

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

British based German pro, Robert Haigh, is starting to move through the gears.

He was heads up with Eilert Eilertsen and the two players had made it to the river where the board rested as {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Haigh led for 70,000 and Eilertsen tank-called and mucked upon seeing Haigh's {k-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a straight.

The next hand there was a raise and a call in front of Haigh before he squeezed from the button. The raise got through and he took the pot uncontested.

Korenev Takes Some From Voth

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Ronny Voth raised to 12,000 from the hijack and Roman Korenev three-bet to 30,000 from the button. The action was folded back to Voth who made the call after which the flop rolled out {J-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Voth check-called 49,000 and the turn brought the {8-Spades}. Voth checked once more and now Korenev bet 74,000. Voth tanked again and called after which the river brought the {5-Hearts}. This time Voth check-folded to a 126,000-chip bet and Korenev took down this big pot.

Hit and Run

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Matias Juhani Kesanen led out for a bet on a board of {6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Anaras Alekberovas pushed out a tower of yellow T25,000 chips, putting Kesanen all in, and the Fin called.

Kesanen: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Alekberovas: {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The {8-Clubs} bricked off on the river, and Kesanen doubled to 750,000. Alekberovas took a hit, but he's still above a million chips with around 1.075.

After the hand, Kesanen was about to be the big blind, and the floor removed from the table to balance another.

"Hit and run," Kesanen said with a grin.

New High For Kenney

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Bryn Kenney just reached a new personal high after knocking out Daniel Rauta. After a raise to 16,000 Kenney decided to call from the cutoff. Rauta was sitting in the small blind and he called all in for less than the raise.

The flop brought out {A-Clubs}{4-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and both players checked. On the turn the {8-Clubs} hit and Kenney's opponent check-folded to his 29,000-chip bet.

Kenny showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Rauta was in bad shape with {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. The river brought the {10-Clubs} and Rauta was knocked out.
