Jeffrey Hakim has had a nice first level on Day 3, having more than doubled his stack already. On one of the last hands of Level 15, he added a few more chips in a hand versus Rabah Ait Abdelmalek.
The hand began with Abdelmalek raising to 6,500 from the hijack seat, then Hakim made it 16,300 to go from the cutoff. It folded around, Abdelmalek called right away, and the flop came . Abdelmalek checked, and when Hakim bet 15,000 Abdelmalek was again very quick with the call.
Both checked the turn, then the river brought the and another check from Abdelmalek. This time Hakim bet 28,000, and after a brief, exasperated-seeming moment Abdelmalek made the call. Hakim showed for a rivered pair of kings, and Abdelmalek mucked.
EPT Loutraki champion Zimnan Ziyard has just passed 400,000 chips and he is cruising right now here in Deauville.
Pascal Lefrancois opened to 6,500 from the hijack and Ziyard, in the big blind, was his only customer. Ziyard then check-called a 7,500 continuation bet from Lefrancois on a flop before both players checked the arrival of the on the turn. The river was the and Ziyard made it 20,500 to play and was quickly called by Lefrancois.
Ziyard:
Lefrancois: *mucked*
"You have the ace?" quizzed Ziyard before the dealer turned over Lefrancois' hand, , much to the annoyance of Lefrancois who felt his hand could and should have remained a secret.

Matthias De Meulder had a sliding stack count but is back to winning ways after double-barreling into [Removed:4].
The Team PokerStars Pro opened from the hijack and bet 8,200 and 21,300 on the board. Rudelitz stuck with De Meulder until the turn where he released his hand.
De Meulder seemed disappointed he folded. Royal flush draw by chance?
With about 15 minutes left to go in Level 15 they are down to 130 players, which means 10 more eliminations must come before the tournament reaches the money.
Vanessa Rousso is among the shorter stacks remaining particularly mindful of the approach of the cash bubble.
Rousso has improved her status so far today, having nearly doubled her starting stack. But she remains cautious, as evidenced just now after she opened from early position with a raise to 7,000, then watched her neighbor Markus Ristola reraise to 16,000 to scatter the others. Rousso took a couple of minutes before folding, thereby preserving her stack of about 20 big blinds.

Our view of the feature table is extremely limited but that has not stopped us seeing Mikhail Semin make a fantastic call on the river with third pair!
The board read and Semin, in the big blind, checked to Thomas Butzhammer on the button. Butzhammer then moved all-in for over 250,000 but Semin only had 59,000 chips remaining.
Semin went deep into the tank, as you would expect, for four minutes before emerging with a call.
Semin:
Butzhammer:
Butzhammer was caught with his fingers in the proverbial cookie jar and Semin just gained a whole lot of respect from his table mates and those of you watching on the stream at home!
David Stephany opened to 5,500 preflop from middle position before Matthias De Meulder made it 12,300 from the hijack but then Walid Bou Habbib made a cold four bet to 29,300 from the cutoff.
Stephany tanked for a couple of minutes but De Meulder took much longer, the Team PokerStars Pro taking a full five minutes before eventually he folded with a hint of frustration. Habbib told him it was a very good fold.
