Gulyy And Others Bust

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Andrey Gulyy came in for a raise from middle position, Shannon Shorr three-bet to 8,900 on the button, and Gulyy moved all in for 43,300. Shorr tank-called.

Shorr: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Gulyy: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

"Good luck, bro," Gulyy said.

"You too," Shorr responded.

Shorr took the lead when the flop came {6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Spades}, and retained it as the turn and river produced the {4-Clubs}, and the {2-Hearts} respectively. Gulyy hit the rail, while Shorr now sits with 130,000 chips.

There are several other players who have busted recently, Including Raoul Refos, Ike Haxton, Bryn Kenney, and Salman Behbehani.

Sfez Gets a Hatful More

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

David Boyaciyan is out, reshoving with {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} versus Eric Sfez's {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} the board coming an exciting {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} to backdoor Sfez into a wheel.

Levi Damns Barbosa

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

A battle of the (relatively) short-stacks saw Nicolas Levi the victor in a pot against former EPT champion Joao Barbosa. The Frenchman's {A-Clubs}{9-Spades} held against Barbosa's {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} but not without a little scare on the turn of the {K-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board.

Boyaciyan Gets Double

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

David Boyaciyan was all in for his final 24,700 preflop from late position and Faraz Jaka made the call in the big blind with {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Boyaciyan rolled his eyes and with a rueful smile across his face, he turned over {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

The flop came {6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and the Dutchman picked up a gutshot, the {8-Spades} on the turn put him ahead but gave Jaka a straight draw. A blank {2-Hearts} on the river sealed the double up.

Sabharwal revealed {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for aces and fours, prompting Danchev to dump his hand into the muck.

McDonald Crippled

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Talal Shakerchi opened to 4,500 from the hijack seat, Mike McDonald three-bet to 9,500 on the button, and Shakerchi came along for the ride.

The dealer fanned {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, Shakerchi checked, and McDonald fired 12,300. Shakerchi check-raised all in for what looked like 50,000 or so, and McDonald called.

Shakerchi: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}
McDonald: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Shakerchi held a leading pair of queens, but McDonald was drawing to two straights and a backdoor flush. The {3-Spades} was no help to McDonald, and the {10-Diamonds} bricked on the river as well.

McDonald dropped down to 25,000 chips, while Shakerchi now has around 120,000.
