Pagano Lets One Go

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

It took Luca Pagano a few minutes to open-fold {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} to Alfonso Illiano after the latter shoved in his last 12,075 on the river.

The two Italians were heads up to the river of a {3-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts} board and the Team PokerStars Pro checked from under the gun. Illiano shoved from the button and neglected to show his hand as well after he's won the pot.

Roomates and Tablemates

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

The Roommates have become tablemates. The British Duo of Jon Spinks and John Eames sharing a table with the newest member of PokerStars, the diminutive and delectable Leo Margets. Spinks is in fine form both live and online. You may remember that he won the €2,000 side event at EPT Deauville for $192,586, and he has just followed up that win with a first place in the $350,000 Guarantee on Full Tilt for $67,283. Here he is in action against Eames.

The action folds around to Spinks in the hijack and makes a 250 bet. Eames peeks at his cards and fancies it. He makes the call and after the blinds fold we are heads up to the flop. The action checks through to the turn on a {Q-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {4-Spades} board and Eames takes the pot with a 525 bet.

Iacofano Loses a Small One

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Kevin Iacofano opened to 250 from the cutoff seat. A player defended out of the big blind, and the flop fell {4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {9-Spades}, the player checked, and Iacofano continued for 300. The player called.

The {3-Diamonds} completed the board, and the player led out for 400. Iacofano examined the bet for the better part of 30 seconds, then tossed his hand into the muck.

Nielsen on the Attack

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Intrepid reporter, MarcC, brought you news earlier of a delicious dish of a table over at Table 24. Here is some action, from that table, involving Team PokerStars Pro, Eugene Katchalov and Rasmus Nielsen.

The action folds to Katchalov in the cutoff and he raises to 250. Nielsen is next to act and he three-bets to 700 and Katchalov makes the call.

Flop: {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {6-Spades}

Katchalov check-calls a 1,900 Nielsen c-bet and that ends the action. The turn {Q-Clubs}, and river {Q-Hearts}, are both checked down and Nielsen takes the pot when he shows the {4-Diamonds} {4-Spades} and Katchalov mucks.

Datt's the Way I Like It

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Andrey Gulyy opened to 200 preflop in early position, Salman Behbehani made it 550 in the next seat down and got one caller before Michel Dattani cold four-bet to 1,050 from the blinds.

Gulyy then five-bet to 2,600, Behbehani folded, as did the caller but Dattani made the call.

That was the last of the action, the dangerous looking board of {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} was checked down where Dattani's {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} was still good.

Both players slowed down with a check on the {8-Spades}, and the final card was the {4-Clubs}. Heemskerk spun out a 2,300 bet and Duhamel made the fold.

Battling Brits; New Obrestad

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Stephen Jelinek and Barny Boatman are sat with Annette Obrestad amongst others today. To be fair they they might not even see that's she's there due to her new slim figure. The leading lady is looking amazing!

The Brits battled in a small pot and Boatman took it down. Jose Maria Galindo Lopez opened to to 225 and was called by Boatman from two seats along and by Jelinek in the big blind.

All three checked the {2-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop before Jelinek led for 400 on the {7-Hearts} turn. Onlt Boatman called and both payers checked the {2-Spades} river. Boatman opened {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and scooped as Jelinek mucked.
