It looked grim on the ![]()

We saw the double up of David "MissOracle" Yan, who raised the small blind to 12,000. In the big blind, Michael Tureniec put him all in and Yan called for 83,000 with the ![]()
. Tureniec improved with the ![]()
on the ![]()

flop but the
turn completed the nut straight for Yan. The
river completed the board and the Day 1B chip leader is still in it to win it.
Roberto Romanello didn't have so much luck. In late position he raised and Raul Mestre defended his big blind. On the ![]()
![]()
flop both players checked. The
turn triggered a bet from Mestre for 20,000 and Romanello moved all in for 94,000. Snap call by the Spaniard:

Only a ten could save the Welshman, but the
river wasn't what he was looking for.
Ivan Gabrieli had the ![]()
and Dimitar Danchev the ![]()
. The expected happened as they got it all in preflop with Danchev easily covering Gabrieli.
A final board of ![]()

. Gabrieli had a lot to fade on the river and the club was one of them as the king high flush of Danchev sent him to the rail.
We missed the elimination of Caglar Bayindir but did witness how Nikolay Tsanev had been sent to the rail. From the hijack he open shoved for 50,000 and was called one seat over from Alessandro Meoni. Tsanev had pocket deuces, the Italian turned over pocket nines. The board saw no hit for either player and Tsanev headed to the payout desk.
Dominik Nitsche got severely wounded (chip stack wise) in that hand with Stephen Chidwick before the break. He's recovering though, it's time for his big comeback.
Nitsche shoved, reshoved and got a walk in his big blind (with queens nonetheless) and gained some chips without a showdown. Just now he did have to show his cards, and he had the best hand.
He open shoved the cutoff for 69,500 and neighbor Rafael Morales reshoved from the button. Both blinds folded and they tabled their cards.

Caglar Bayindir only had 25,000 left and in it went. He got called by Andrey Lobzhanidze.
Bayindir had live cards, ![]()

Another all-in preflop confrontation saw Eldar Moldobek Uulu shove only to find a re-shove from Federico Petruzzelli. That’s not what you want to hear when you’re holding ![]()
as Uulu was and the ![]()
of Petruzzelli eliminated him when the cards fell.

He hit his nine but it was far too late after that turn card king.
We have to give it up to Victor Ramdin. At the end of Day 1b, he bagged a measly 9,200. We pegged him as one of the first players to go on Day 2, but he proved us wrong by running up his stack and making it through to Day 3. He began today short as well, but he once again proved he's a short-stack ninja by making it through the money bubble.
Unfortunately Ramdin's run just came to an end.
It happened when he moved all in for his last 28,500 from the hijack and Bulgaria's Valeri Savov called from the cutoff. The button and blinds both folded and the cards were turned up.

Ramdin was behind, but he had the right kind of hand to crack a big pocket pair.
"Eight," Ramdin called when the ![]()

flop delivered him a gutshot straight draw. He had hope, but that didn't amount to anything as the
blanked on the turn followed by the
river.
Ramdin exited in 73rd place.
Rytis Praninskas shoved for his last 40,000 with ![]()

Shyam Srinivasan raised from under the gun to 10,500 and Bernardo Dias moved all in one seat over for 17,000. Pedro Pellicer four-bet to 29,000 and Srinivasan folded.
