Simeon Naydenov

Simeon Naydenov first hit the spotlight when he bubbled the final table at EPT Campione in Season 8 for €41,000. However, the major turning point in his poker career came last summer when he became the second ever Bulgarian to win a WSOP bracelet, taking down the $1,500 shootout for $326,440. Now aged 26, Naydenov graduated in Business and Economics before taking up poker with friends. Competing in casinos gave him the impetus to start playing professionally and his first major cash came in Varna in 2009, when he finished fourth in a €1k event for €18,600. Online achievements include second place in the PokerStars PLO WCOOP event in September 2010 for a $36,000 prize. As well as poker, Naydenov also runs a social media marketing company.

His live tournament winnings amount to more than $860,000. He has also represented Bulgaria in two World Cups of the strategy game “Age of Empires”.
