Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Siarhei Kremerau raised to 525 from the cutoff and the player on the button let his hand go. Konstantin Puchkov was in the small blind and he opted to come over the top with a three-bet to 1,500. The bid blind folded and Kremerau moved out a four-bet to 3,800. Puchkov called.

Where Have All The Former Champs Gone?

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Of the 11 previous winners of EPT Barcelona, only Thomas Middleton returned to the scene of his greatest success — and he has now been eliminated. That means, with registration open until noon tomorrow, that Jan Boubli, et al, have a better chance of winning than “hitthehole” does. And that’s pretty slim. PokerStars Blog explains.

Novikova Fires Thrice

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Matias Ruzzi and PokerStars Team Pro Online member Liliya Novikova were engaged in pot where the flop read {5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Ruzzi checked over to Novikova and she cut out a bet of 1,200. Ruzzi called to see a turn.

Fourth street was the {k-Clubs} and Ruzzi check-called a bet of 2,800. The {7-Clubs} finished off the board and Ruzzi checked one final time. Novikova bet 7,525 and Ruzzi went into the tank. After well over a minute, he tossed out calling chips. Novikova instantly mucked her hand without tabling it, allowing Ruzzi to take down the pot without a showdown.

With this hit, Novikova's stack has dropped to approximately 23,000.

Patkovic Over Grospellier

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier raised to 400 from early position and found calls from the players in the cutoff and on the button. Srdjan Patkovic was in the small blind and he came along for the ride. The player in the big blind called as well, making it five players to the flop.

The dealer fanned {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades} and the two blinds checked back to Grospellier. He continued for 1,000 and the next two players quickly released their hands. Patkovic called and the big blind let it go.

Fourth street was the {a-Hearts} and Patkovic checked for a second time. Grospellier did the same and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board. Action checked to the Team PokerStars Pro one final time and he bet 2,250. Patkovic called and Grospellier confidently rolled over {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Patkovic had that beat, however, with {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for a pair of kings with a higher kicker. With this hit, Grospellier's stack has been reduced to 25,200.
