One for Quoss

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Play folded to Nick Petrangelo on the button, and he raised to 4,000. Fabian Quoss called from the small blind, and Tony Gregg called from the big blind. The flop came out {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and Quoss and Gregg checked to Petrangelo. He bet 7,000, Quoss called, and Gregg folded.

On the turn, the {4-Spades} appeared. Both Quoss and Petrangelo checked to see the {2-Diamonds} complete the board on the river. Quoss led with a bet of 8,000, and Petrangelo folded.

Two More Germans

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Ole Schemion has bought back in, and he is now seated right next to Leon Tsoukernik. Phil Ivey is scuffing around a bit, making small talk with Daniel Negreanu, but not reentering just yet. We expect him to do so shortly.

The other addition to the field is Tobias Reinkemeier, bringing the total amount of players to 49.

Play folded to Leon Tsoukernik in the small blind, and he raised all in against Phil Ivey's big blind. Ivey quickly called all in for a few thousand in chips with the {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, claiming to have only looked at one card. Tsoukernik had the {A-Spades}{7-Spades} for the better of it.

Tsoukernik's hand was best going into the battle, and it proved best at the end, too, after the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Ivey Quadruples Back

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Phil Ivey was all in against three players on the {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop — Bryn Kenney, Leon Tsoukernik, and Carlos Chadha. Kenney was first and checked. Tsoukernik bet 8,000, and then Chadha raised to 18,000. Kenney folded, and Tsoukernik called.

With 36,000 in the side pot, Tsoukernik and Chadha both checked the {3-Hearts} turn card. At this point, Ivey stopped the massage he was getting as if to signal it was the end of the tournament for him.

"That's it," Ivey said, looking back at the masseuse. "How much I owe you?"

The dealer dealt the {9-Spades} river, and Tsoukernik led with a bet of 28,000. Chadha thought about it, then called, but his {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} was no good against the {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for Tsoukernik.

"Bam!" yelled out Ivey after the side pot was pushed to Tsoukernik, showing his {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the winning hand of the main pot. "That's mine, right?" he motioned to the side pot as a joke just before the dealer slid it over to Tsoukernik.

After the dealer sent the chips to each player, Ivey finished, "Wasn't looking good on the end there."

Drinan Bets Big

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a board of {9-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{Q-Spades} it was Thomas Muehloecker with a bet of 8,500 in front of him from the big blind. Connor Drinan in the under the gun position raised it up to 27,000. Sam Greenwood made the call from middle position. Muehloecker followed suit and called as well.

The {5-Diamonds} fell on the river and Muehloecker checked. Drinan bet out 75,000 and after a long tank, Greenwood made the call. Muehloecker folded instantly.

Drinan showed {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for the nuts, Greenwood mucked.
