The €100,000 Super High Roller at the 2015 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final is well underway after a record-breaking Day 1 took place on Thursday that saw the field size reach all-time heights. One of the players in field the field was King's Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik, who is certainly no stranger to high-stakes action of all kinds.

Tsoukernik first played the event in 2012. After busting his first entry that year, Tsoukernik famously paid for his second €100,000 bullet by heading to the craps table to win €70,000, then jumping to roulette to win another €50,000. In this year's event, Tsoukernik once again sought out action to win another €100,000 to fire after being eliminated on his first try, but this time he chose poker.

After busting, Tsoukernik found Dan "Jungleman" Cates and asked him to play a €500/€1,000 heads-up match for €100,000. Cates agreed, and after 30 minutes Tsoukernik won the match and had a second €100,000 buy-in, which he promptly used to reenter the Super High Roller.

During Day 1 play, PokerNews' Remko Rinkema caught up with Tsoukernik to discuss more about it. Check out the video:
