Finger's Move Works

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Martin Finger opened to 25,000 and was called by Ezequiel Kleinman on the button, Igor Yaroshevskyy in the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski in the big blind. The flop {J-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} is checked to Kleinman and the Argentinian bet 29,000. Yaroshevskyy and Badziakouski both called before Finger check-raised to 80,000.

Kleinman and Yaroshevskyy now quickly folded, Badziakouski needed some more consideration but made the same decision. Finger showed the {9-Hearts} with a sheepish grin on the face.

Not the Right Spot Yet

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Kevin MacPhee moved all in for 125,000 chips and the last 10 big blinds found no caller.

Over on table three, Byron Kaverman raised to 30,000 and chip leader Vladimir Dobrovolskiy three-bet to 77,000. Kaverman gave it a quick thought and folded, the Russian showed him the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Nevertheless, Kaverman has benefited a lot from the bubble period and moved into the top three overall counts.

Pahuja Wins Big Against Troyanovskiy

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 20,000 from early position and was called by Mukul Pahuja from one seat over as well as both players in the blinds. The {A-Diamonds}{K-}{Q-Diamonds} flop was checked to Pahuja and he bet 46,000, which only Troyanovskiy called.

Felix Stephensen

Felix Stephensen raised to 23,000 and Ihar Soika moved all in for 146,000, prompting a call by Stephensen and the immediate grin on the face of the former November Niner when he spotted the cards of his opponent. Soika had picked up the only hand that beat his {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, as the Belorussian flipped over {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}. The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Stephensen was left with less than 10 big blinds.

The remainder of his stack went in preflop via three-bet shove for 80,000 with {Q-}{10-} and initial raiser Senh Ung called with pocket threes to win the flip.
