Badziakouski Shoves His Short Stack

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

A short-stacked Mikita Badziakouski shoved all in from early position for his last 11,700 and received a call from Simon Higgins in the hijack. Juha Lauttamus then three-bet all in for approximately 75,000 from the cutoff, the button and blinds all folded, and Higgins got out of the way.

Badziakouski: {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Lauttamus: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Badziakouski had major kicker problems, and they didn't get resolved as the board ran out {10-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} to give Lauttamus two pair.

Metalidi Busts Silver

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Max Silver's High Roller is over thanks to him running into the pocket aces of Ukraine's Artem Metalidi.

The chips went in preflop, with Silver needing a lot of help from the community cards, his {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} crushed by Metalidi's {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}. No help arrive as the board ran {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to send Silver to the sidelines as the last level of the night approaches.

Little Succeeds Against Jaka

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Faraz Jaka opened to 3,000 from the cutoff, Jonathan Little raised to 8,000 on the button, and Jaka called once both blinds had folded.

Jaka check-called an 8,000 bet on the {3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop before checking on the {8-Diamonds} turn. Little paused for a few moments before betting 18,000. This was more than Jaka was prepared to pay and he ducked out of the way, leaving Little to add to his stack.

The French & Irish Off to the Races

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Eoghan O'Dea opened for 2,400 from middle position and received a call from the player in the cutoff. Jean Dufau then three-bet all in for 28,800 from the button, both blinds folded, and O'Dea four-bet all in over the top for 32,000 total. The limped gave it some thought but ultimately decided to fold.

O'Dea: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Dufau: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Dufau needed to improve to stay alive, but that didn't happen as the board ran out a lackluster {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

Chopped Pot For McCorkell and Pollak

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The action folded to Benjamin Pollak in the small blind and the Frenchman made it 3,500 to go. Craig McCorkell defended his big blind with a call, and it was heads-up to the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{J-Clubs} flop.

Pollak led for 3,600 and McCorkell called. Both players then checked the {A-Diamonds} turn and the {6-Diamonds} river and chopped the pot when Pollak showed {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and McCorkell the {J-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Kanit Gets Paid on the River

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Just before the last break, Mustafa Kanit opened for 2,200 and Carlos Chadha called from the small blind. When the flop came down {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Chadha led out for 9,000, Kanit raised to 23,500, and Chadha called to see the {A-Spades} turn.

Chadha checked, as did Kanit, and the {7-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. Chadha checked, Kanit thought for two minutes before betting 31,000, and Chada called. Kanit tabled the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, and it was good as Chadha mucked.
