Jean-Noel Thorel was nowhere to be found just now, and Govert Metaal was kind enough to share with us what went down.
Metaal explained how it was Chady Merhej who raised to 13,000 and Thorel three-bet from the small blind to 25,000. Merhej called, and the came down ten-high.
"Thorel bet 50,000 on the flop," Metaal said, as Merhej tanked for a very long time before making the call.
"On the turn another ten hit," Metaal continued, "And Thorel just threw it all in there."
Thorel created a pot worth over 500,000 as Merhej called right away with 
. Thorel was close to drawing dead holding a pair of fours, and the river brought a blank to send him out the door.
