Hecklen Busts in a Flip

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

We're that much closer to bursting the money bubble, as we just lost three more players. Henrik Hecklen shoved all in over the top for 76,000 after a raise and two callers, and one player called to put him at risk.

Hecklen held {A-}{Q-} against Felix Bleiker's pocket fives, and the board brought him no help. Frederik Jensen and Jean Paul Zaffran have also been knocked out, and that brings us down to 50 players.

Vladimir Dobrovolskiy Eliminated

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Vladimir Dobrovolskiy was already short after the big hand against Vanessa Selbst, and moved in for his last 60,500 from the hijack just now. Stevan Chew shoved all in from the small blind to isolate and Selbst folded her big blind. "That's not good" Chew said when he saw the showdown.

Stevan Chew: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Vladimir Dobrovolskiy: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The flop brought a ten however, and Dobrovolskiy didn't come from behind: {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

Bilic Out, Selbst a Big Stack after Aces versus Ace-King and Ace-King

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Vanessa Selbst
Vanessa Selbst

Vladimir Dobrovolskiy opened from middle position and Alen Bilic in the cutoff shoved all in for 51,500. Action folded to Vanessa Selbst in the big blind and she called. Dobrovolskiy called as well.

Selbst checked on {10-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Dobrovolskiy checked behind. The {3-Diamonds} hit the turn and Selbst checked again. Dobrovolskiy made a bet of 60,000 and Selbst shoved all in for 188,000. Dobrovolskiy went into the tank but after some minutes he called.

Vladimir Dobrovolskiy: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Vanessa Selbst: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}
Alen Bilic: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

Dobrovolskiy and Bilic needed the last king in the deck but wouldn't be so lucky. Instead the {9-Spades} hit and Bilic was out while Dobrovolskiy was down to just over 70,000.

Thorel Bluffs it All to Merhej

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel was nowhere to be found just now, and Govert Metaal was kind enough to share with us what went down.

Metaal explained how it was Chady Merhej who raised to 13,000 and Thorel three-bet from the small blind to 25,000. Merhej called, and the came down ten-high.

"Thorel bet 50,000 on the flop," Metaal said, as Merhej tanked for a very long time before making the call.

"On the turn another ten hit," Metaal continued, "And Thorel just threw it all in there."

Thorel created a pot worth over 500,000 as Merhej called right away with {J-}{10-}. Thorel was close to drawing dead holding a pair of fours, and the river brought a blank to send him out the door.
