Vamplew Chops a Big Pot

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

David Vamplew is up to 57,000 chips, but could have been much higher had he not chopped a pot a few moments ago.

Vamplew was on the button and had raised all-in for 20,150 effective after Jan Krejci had made it 7,200 from the small blind. Krejci tanked for more than two minutes before calling. All the players at the table craned their necks to see what hands had caused such a commotion, but they were left slightly disappointed when Krejci showed {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and Vamplew {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

No drama from the {2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} board meant the pot was chopped.

Romundstad River Bet Wins the Pot

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Lars Romundstad was under the gun and he made it 900 to go. Niall Farrell called in the hijack, and Khorshid Sakhr called in the big blind.

Sakhr checked on the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, Romundstad bet 1,200, and both of his opponents called. All three players checked on the {9-Hearts} turn, with Sakhr checking for a third time when the dealer places the {7-Hearts} on the river. Romunstad bet 3,800, Farrell instantly released, and Sakhr's cards hit the muck after 30-40 seconds of pondering at least a call.

Marquez Gives It Up to Bielskis

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

With roughly 5,000 in the pot and a flop of {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, Ana Marquez bet 2,000 from the small blind and Lithuania's Andrius Bielskis called from middle position.

When the {4-Spades} appeared on the turn, Marquez slowed down with a check and then reluctantly folded when Bielskis bet 5,200.

"Show Me If I Fold?"

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante
Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker

With 11,625 in the pot and a board reading {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, Team PokerStars Pro Chris Moneymaker bet 5,000 from early position and his opponent, Serhii Popovych, called from the hijack.

Moneymaker then checked the {J-Diamonds} river and Popovych bet 6,025.

"Show me if I fold?" Moneymaker asked after pondering the decision. "Show me one if I fold?"

Moneymaker's curiosity got the better of him, and he began to put together calling chips.

"I'll just see them both," he said before making the call. Popovych then rolled over the {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the improbable runner-runner flush.

Moneymaker didn't seem too pleased. "Nice flop call," he tossed out there.

Cody Begins the Rebuilding Process

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Team PokerStars Pro has added a few more chips to his stack as he battles back towards the starting stack size.

Andreas Berggren raised to 700 from middle position, Cody re-raised to 2,150 from the small blind, and Berggren called. An ace-high flop reading {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} saw Cody continue for 2,150, and Berggren waste no time in getting out of the way.

Stuchlik Not Messing Around

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Former EPT Prague Main Event winner Robert Romanello set the price to see a flop at 700 from middle position and watched on as Krzysztof Stuchlik three-bet to 2,000 from the cutoff. That three-bet was four-bet to 5,800 by Kevin Killeen in the big blind. Romanello folded, but Stuchlik was not done with his hand and he promptly five-bet to 12,500. Killeen mucked and Stuchlik raked in the pot.

Ace-High vs. King-High Flush

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante
Kitty Kuo
Kitty Kuo

Kitty Kuo opened for 700 from the cutoff and Gianfranco Ironico defended from the big blind. The {2-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop saw Ironico check-call a bet of 600, and then both players checked the {6-Spades} turn.

When the {9-Spades} river put four spades on the board, Ironico led out for 2,500 and Kuo popped it to 8,000. Ironico made the call and seemed none too happy when Kuo tabled the {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for an ace-high flush.

Ironico then showed the {K-Spades} for a king-high flush before mucking his hand and sending the chips over to Kup.
