Farrell Folds Top Set

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

As we arrived over on table 8 Niall Farrel had just bet around 40,000 on a flop of {6-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs} from the cutoff. His neighbor Marc MacDonnell on the button made the call.

Farrell bet another 138,000 on the {8-Diamonds} turn and again MacDonnell called.

The {4-Clubs} completed the board and Farrell carefully cut out 250,000 and slid them forward. MacDonnell thought for just 10 seconds and then moved all in.

"So frustrating! I fold!" Farrell said while open mucking his {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}, "So %$#*! frustrating!" MacDonnell didn't show and just collected the chips.

Stevens Knocks Out Astapau

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

On a {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop Belarusian pro Anton Astapau moved all in for his last 118,000 from the big blind and Terence Stevens tanked for a bit before calling from his direct left.

Stevens: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Astapau: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The turn brought the {6-Spades} and the river the {A-Clubs}, giving Stevens a winning pair. Astapau looked disappointed, and shook his head ever so slightly, as he hit the rail.

Ilkin Amirov Doubles

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ilkin Amirov got his last 240,000 in from the cutoff over a under the gun raise from Thomas Butzhammer. Butzhammer called with {A-Spades}{K-Spades} and put Amirov and his {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} at risk.

The flop came {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, not doing much for either player. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn brought Amirov some outs for a chop and he asked the dealer for a six. Instead the {Q-Clubs} popped up on the river and he doubled up.
