Vogelsang Back to Starting Stack

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Piecing together the information based on player position and the chips in the pot, it appears Dario Sammartino opened from middle position, Christoph Vogelsang three-bet from the small blind, Stephen Chidwick cold-called from the big blind, and Sammartino called to make it three-handed to the {4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} flop.

Vogelsang bet 19,000 and Chidwick raised to 48,000 and Sammartino quickly folded. Vogelsang went into the tank and stayed there for so long that someone on his table called the clock on him. Before the tournament director could begin her countdown Vogelsang called.

The {J-Hearts} turn was greeted with a check from both players, but Vogelsang bet 40,000 on the {8-Spades} turn and Chidwick ducked out of the way.

Reinkemeier Applies Pressure

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy opened for 7,000 under the gun and Tobias Reinkemeier called from the button. Two checks saw Reinkemeier bet 16,000, Helppi and Juanda quickly folded, and Troyanovskiy called to see the {A-Hearts} turn.

Sammartino Shoves on "Tight-Man1"

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Christoph "Tight-Man1" Vogelsang raised to 7,500 under the gun and was met by a three-bet to what looked to be 25,000 by Dario Sammartino on the button. Both blinds folded, and Vogelsang thought long and hard before pushing back with a four-bet to 48,000, which prompted Sammartino to five-bet all in. Vogelsang snap-folded.

Schemion's Hero Call Goes Wrong, Mateos Doubles

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

Adrian Mateos opened under the gun for 7,200 and action folded to Ole Schemion on the button. The German super star three bet to 19,500 and both blinds released before Mateos made the call.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Mateos knocked on the table. Schemion fired 17,000 into the middle and Mateos called.

Both players checked the {Q-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} completed the board. Mateos checked for the third time and Schemion bet 42,000. Mateos thought about it for just a few seconds before moving all in for 132,700.

Schemion asked for a count, tanked for a minute or three, and called. Mateos quickly tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Schemion mucked, but the delaer showed his {J-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} anyway.

Holz Four-Bets Jouhkimainen

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Mustapha Kanit raised to 7,000 and Joni Jouhkimainen three-bet from the button to 20,000. Fedor Holz was next to act in the small blind and he four-bet to 50,700. Kanit folded right away, and Jouhkimainen tanked for a bit before folding as well.

Holz raked in the pot and he chipped up nicely, as the Finnish pro has dropped quite a few as of late.

Schemion Doubles, Mikhail Rudoy Decimated

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

As we arrived over on the table in the far right corner of the room, there was already about 200,000 in the middle in a pot between Ole Schemion and Mikhail Rudoy.

With the board reading {7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{J-Hearts} Schemion moved in for 160,200 from the small blind. Rudoy tanked for a fair bit and eventually tossed in some chips to call from the hijack. Schemion tabled {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for the flopped set that had turned into a full house. Rudoy showed {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} before mucking.

Rudoy was left with just 9,500 but doubled in the next hand with {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts} against Rossiter's {10-Hearts}{J-Hearts} on a board of {10-Spades}{A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.
