Just about every record here has been broken so far this EPT Barcelona poker festival, and the €25,500 Single-Day High Roller will be no exception.
Last year a total of 152 entries (118 players plus 34 reentries) were done into the event, the field now is already up to 158 (131 plus 27) and registration is open for about 90 minutes (one 30-minute level plus a 60-minute dinner break). Also, the PokerStars EPT app tells us there's 9 seats reserved already as well.
More than two dozen players opted to reenter the competition, and among those on the second bullet were also Max Silver and Viacheslav Goryachev. Unfortunately, the second attempt of both was not crowned by success either and they have been eliminated for good.
