Neuville Triples; Frey Doubles

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Georgios Zisimopoulos raised to 4,500 and picked up one caller before Pierre Neuville shoved his last 18,800. Zisimopoulos and the other player both called and they headed to a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. The two remaining active players checked before the Greek isolated on the {9-Hearts} turn to enforce a fold of the third player.

Neuville: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Zisimopoulos: {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {4-Hearts} river was already meaningless as Neuville got a full triple up with his set.

One hand later, Zisimopoulos opened to 5,000 and reluctantly called the three-bet shove of table neighbor Kyle Frey for 46,100.

Frey: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Zisimopoulos: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and the disastrous start for the Greek saw him slide down to less than 20 big blinds.

Kornuth Bets Three Streets; Busts

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

We saw Chance Kornuth getting to his feet and Luuk Gieles raking in the chips. He said that Chance had bet a rainbow flop of {8-}{6-}{2-} for 4,500, the turn of {2-} for 8,500, and the {a-} on the river and Gieles looked him up on each street holding {q-}{8-}, eventually busting Kornuth, who held {k-}{10-}.

Adams vs Stern

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Timothy Adams raised to 5,000 and was called by three opponents including Zvi Stern. On the flop {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}, the action was checked to Stern and he bet 7,800 which only Adams called. The {6-Diamonds} turn then saw Adams check-raise from 16,800 to 44,000 and the November Niner came along to see the {3-Clubs} on the river.

Adams checked and Stern's bet of 46,000 won the pot without showdown.

Making a Move

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Luis Rodriguez Cruz not only got halved but also lost the remainder of his stack to bust early on, he was soon followed by Emil Ekvardt and Darrell Goh.

Arne Coulier was just at risk in a three-way hand that saw Or Hadad, the Belgian and Daniel Dvoress in action. About 50,000 chips had been pulled into the pot and Hadad had folded. Coulier was all in for another 58,900 and Dvoress tanked, as he only had the Belgian covered by around 20,000.

Ultimately, Dvoress folded and Coulier showed him the {2-Hearts}. "Of course. I was so close to shoving nines," Hadad said.

Vamplew Busts to Radoja

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
David Vamplew
David Vamplew

David Vamplew was spotted all in not long ago to steal the blinds and antes and one orbit later he defended his big blind against a raise by Mark Radoja. The former EPT Main Event champion then shoved his short stack on the {J-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} turn and Radoja snap-called without asking for a count.

Vamplew had the {Q-Spades}{6-Spades} for bottom pair and a flush draw while Radoja's {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} had made a set of jacks. The {6-Hearts} river was of no help for the Scot and he headed to the rail.

Kevin Killeen
Kevin Killeen

Jean Paul Zaffran raised the small blind and Kevin Killeen then three-bet jammed for 41,200 with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Zaffran called with the inferior {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} but got some sweat on the flop {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. However, neither the {2-Diamonds} turn nor the {7-Diamonds} river changed anything and Killeen doubled.
