Herold Busts in a Flip

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Kyle Frey opened to 1,200 and was called by one player before Kai Herold shoved his last 11,125 out of the blinds. Frey called with only a few chips behind and the third player in the hand folded.

Herold: {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Frey: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and that was it for the German. Soon after, Keith Johnson arrived at the table and Charlie Carrel joked over to the fellow Brit "every single tourney, eh?" They had been playing on the final table of the 25k High Roller earlier today already.

Gordillo Cracks All Four Aces

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

After one limp for 500, Francisco Gordillo pushed forward his stack without noticing that Ian Hunter was still to act. The Spaniard quickly apologized and then Hunter verified with the dealer that he was just calling a limp for 500. Then, Gordillo moved all in for 24,000 and the player behind him tank-folded.

The initial limper called all in for 17,000 with the {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and Hunter snap-called with his {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} as well. Gordillo was praying for a king with his {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and got his wish granted on the board {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, jumping out of his chair in celebration.

Trouble Time for Staszko

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Julien Martini and Martin Staszko have one thing in common: They had more chips previously. While Martini had doubled up with pocket tens by cracking pocket aces, Staszko was just trying the same against the jacks of the Frenchman. However, the board blanked out and Martini doubled back to starting stack, Staszko is down to 14 big blinds.

Eminoglu vs Neuville

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

On a heads-up flop of {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Yucel Eminoglu checked and Pierre Neuville bet 2,600. Eminoglu complained that the Belgian took his sunglasses on and off, but with a big smile on his face. Anthony Zinno could not help but grin, too, and just like that Neuville then put the sunglasses on again when the {Q-Hearts} appeared on the turn.

Eminoglu checked, Neuville bet 4,500 and received a "that's a pretty good bet" from his opponent. Eminoglu folded and added a "you played this hand good," ensuring smiles on the table. Neuville took off his sunglasses and just smirked back.

Raniszewski's Flush is Good

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

On a flop of {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{q-Spades} with 4,450 already in the pot Raniszewski check-called a bet from Julien Martini of 1,700 and saw the {2-Spades} on the turn. Raniszewski again check-called for 6,000 this time, and both players checked the {4-Hearts} on the river. Raniszewski tabled {4-Spades}{8-Spades} for a flush and moved to over 40,000 in chips
