A Stacked Table

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Luca Pagano squeezed to 8,000 and Charlie Carrel then reraised to 24,000 before picking up a call from Pagano to see the flop {J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the {4-Clubs} turn saw Pagano bet 20,000 and Carrel tossed in the chips. A {J-Clubs} river saw Pagano fire again and this time Carrel folded, also gave up the next hand when being pushed all in.

The table also features Liv Boeree, Gilles Bernies and Adrian Mateos. The latter two just clashed with Mateos opening to 3,500 and calling the three-bet of the German for 7,600. On the {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, Mateos check-folded to a bet of 9,100 and was shown an ace.

Nevanlinna Bad Beats Verbanck

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Jussi Nevanlinna raised to 3,500 and Yiannis Liperis three-bet to 11,000 before the action folded around to Bart Verbanck. The Belgian squeezed to 30,000 and Nevanlinna gave it some thought before moving all in. Liperis folded and Verbanck snap-called.

Verbanck: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Nevanlinna: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The {Q-Clubs} in the window was bad news for Verbanck and he failed to improve on the board {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to hit the rail, Nevanlinna had him covered by a few big blinds.

Calamusa Busts Treccarichi

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Pierre Calamusa
Pierre Calamusa

After a raise to 3,600 from under the gun by Walter Treccarichi, Artem Litvinov and Pierre Calamusa called. They headed to the flop {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and Calamusa check-called a bet of 5,000 by the Italian, Litvinov also came along as well. They checked the {7-Spades} turn before Calamusa bet the {3-Diamonds} river for 15,000.

Treccarichi now moved all in for 40,000 and Litvinov tanked for a long time before making the fold. Calamusa on the other hand would not let his table neighbor steal the pot without showdown, gave it some thought and called with {A-Spades}{6-Spades}. Treccarichi showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} for ace-high only and hit the rail.

Biggest stack on the table right now is Ivan Deyra.

Wood Doubles With Aces

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Christopher Wood moved all in for 13,00 over Alexandre Meylan's 4,000 open. The blinds folded and Meyland made the call but was disappointed when shown Aces.

Meylan's {a-Spades}{7-Clubs} was way behind to Wood's {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and despite Meylan calling for not just one, but multiple sevens, the board ran out {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and the chips headed Wood's way

Boeree Busts One

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree

Bruno Kawauti shoved short and when it folded around to Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree, she looked down at the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and made the easy call.

Kawauti held the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, but found no joy on the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} board, hitting the rail. With that pot, Boeree crested the 100,000-chip mark once again.
