Mikael Jean Eliminated

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

From first position, Mikael Jean raised. Frank Williams made a three-bet in position and Jean called. Jean then checked on {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Williams answered with a bet of 43,000. Jean shoved all in and Williams instantly called.

Frank Williams: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Mikael Jean: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The {7-Spades} on the turn and {7-Clubs} on the river were blanks and Jean made his exit in 32nd place.

Joao Baumgarten shoved fro a little under 100,000 with the {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

Big stack Christopher Kruk looked him up holding the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and got there on the {6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades} board to eliminate Baumgarten in 33rd place.

Banic Beats Neuville

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Pierre Neuville shipped it in on a {4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop with the {9-Spades}{8-Spades}, but Ivan Banic made the call with the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

The {k-Clubs} turn and {3-Spades} river were the last cards Neuville will see in the EPT12 Dublin Main Event as Banic's jacks held.

James Akenhead

James Akenhead checked to Christopher Kruk heads-up on a {4-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} board. With about 150,000 in the pot already, Kruk bet 82,000.

Akenhead took a minute before check-raising all in for 279,000 total and Kruk snapped him off with the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} straight. Akenhead held the lower end on {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and busted out after the {k-Diamonds} river.

Jones Busts Reeves

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Lucas Reeves shoved the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} over a Rhys Jones under the gun raise and Jones made the call with the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

Big slick took this classic race on a {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} run out and Reeves hit the rail.

Margereson Busts Calamusa

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Scott Margereson and Pierre Calamusa got it in on a flop of [Ad4h9d. Margereson had the best hand with the {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} while Calamusa was on the flush draw with {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

The {A-Spades} on the turn made trips for Margereson and the {K-Hearts} on the river wasn't helping Calamusa either. Calamusa made his exit, Margereson up to almost 800,000.

Neuville Makes a Big Bluff

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Pierre Neuville got up from the table and with a big grin on his face told us about a bluff he pulled earlier. According to Neuville, Ivan Banic had made it 22,000 to go and Neuville had called with {8-}{9-}. The flop came {K-}{K-}{5-} and Banic made a bet of 25,000. Neuville raised to 75,000 and Banic called. Both players checked the {4-} on the turn and the {5-} completed the board. Banic bet 35,000 and Neuville raised to 124,000. Banic folded and Neuville showed the bluff.

Petrangelo Runs Jacks Into Aces

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

While Gilles Bernies was lucky enough to beat kings with his jacks just minutes ago, Nick Petrangelo wouldn't be so lucky. He got it in before the flop holding {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and was facing opposition from Rhys Jones with the {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Petrangelo made his exit. He might just hop in the €10,200 high roller that's about to get underway.

Bernies Hits His Set to Bust Arruda

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

21,000 - 53,000 - 121,000 - 253,000 - all in - call. That's what got Gilles Bernies and Willliam Arruda all in before the flop. Bernies had {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} while Arruda had the {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}.

Arruda was in good position to becoming the chipleader, but it would all end up differently. The {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{6-Hearts} board favored Bernies and Arruda made his exit while Bernies became the chipleader.
