Luo Jams Into Schemion

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

After a four-bet preflop to 7,250, Xixiang Luo was called by Ole Schemion and bet the {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop for 7,125. Schemion called and did so again for 13,200 on the {10-Clubs} turn before Luo emptied the clip on the {8-Spades} river from the cutoff by shoving for 29,225.

Schemion gave him a stare down and eventually folded some time later and was shown the {A-Hearts}, Luo claimed he had a pair of aces.

Konopelka and Zhao Thriving

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Haralabos Voulgaris started well but it went downhill about as fast, he was last spotted betting 4,000 into a pot of 10,000 on the three-way river {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Adnan Chamaa called with {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a straight and that beat Voulgaris who dropped down to 8,400. Only a few minutes later, the Canadian sports betting guru left his chair after losing the remainder of it while Andrei Konopelko is now the biggest stack over there.

One table over, Dong Zhao knocked out an opponent as well to more than double up his stack. The latest seat open can be found below.

Holz and Newey Split

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

On the three-way flop {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Paul Newey bet 2,500 and Fedor Holz called from one seat over, Aliaksei Boika folded. The {8-Clubs} turn was checked through and Newey then check-raised the {Q-Diamonds} river from 2,800 to 8,500.

Holz quickly called with {J-Spades}{9-Spades} and Newey chopped it with {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Holz is back up to more than starting stack after previously losing with jacks to the kings of Jean-Noel Thorel.

Nitsche's Bluff Fails

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Action folded to Argentinan Ariel Mantel in the small blind and he raised to 700. Dominik Nitsche called from the big blind.

The flop came {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Mantel continued for 700. Nitsche called in position.

With the {2-Spades} on the turn, Mantel now checked. Nitsche bet 1,600 and Mantel called.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and Mantel checked again. Nitsche bet 4,000 this time, a bet called by Mantel rather quickly.

Nitsche turned over {4-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and had to let the pot go to his neighbor as Mantel tabled {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

Sometimes You Gotta Try

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Dietrich Fast and Philipp Gruissem got involved in a raising war from the cutoff and button respectively to see a pot of 19,000 chips emerge to the {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Both players checked and did so again for the {2-Diamonds} turn. On the {4-Spades} river, Fast put enough chips forward to put Gruissem all in and the latter called after some consideration.

Gruissem: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Fast: {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}

"You lucky ... " Gruissem joked and they chopped the pot.

Greenwood Doubles Through Tsoukernik

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Sam Greenwood raised to 750 and Leon Tsoukernik, owner of the King's Casino in Rozvadov, three-bet to 3,000. Greenwood then shoved all in and Tsoukernik asked for a count.

"Ninety nine fifty," Greenwood replied and the Czech asked the dealer to count the stack. It was deemed to be exactly 9,950 and then Tsoukernik asked if a rebuy is possible in the tournament. The dealer as well as other players confirmed that one reentry was possible, which prompted Tsoukernik to call and splash his entire stack into the middle.

Greenwood: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Tsoukernik: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} to let Greenwood double and suddenly Tsoukernik was surprised that the all in was for less than 100,000 and not the 99,000 he assumed ... .
