Urbanovich Bad-Beated; Busted

Level 9 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Dzmitry Urbanovich
Dzmitry Urbanovich

Mike McDonald raised to 11,000 from the cutoff and David Peters shoved for 148,000 from the button. Dzmitry Urbanovich then reshoved with the superior stack from one seat over and McDonald tossed his cards into the muck.

Peters: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Urbanovich: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Hearts} and the two outer for Peters left Urbanovich short on 80,000, those chips vanished shortly after.

Kanit and Antonius Gone; Holz Back In

Level 9 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Fedor Holz came back with a ticket in his hand two minutes before the end of the previous level while Patrik Antonius shipped over his stack to Mikita Badziakouski.

Mustapha Kanit started his last hand with around 100,000 and turned top pair on a four-card straight board. The Italian shoved a queen on the river with {A-}{8-} and Dan Shak called with {K-}{Q-} for top pair.

Urbanovich Doubles

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Ole Schemion paid off two bets worth 36,500 on the {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs} turn and 66,000 on the {2-Spades} river by Michael Bonzon and then mucked when the Swiss showed {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for sixes and fours.

One hand later, Dzmitry Urbanovich raised to 10,000 from the button and Bonzon raised to 27,000 from the small blind. Urbanovich called and they headed to the {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. Bonzon continued for 45,000 and was called before instantly shoving the {3-Clubs} turn. Urbanovich quickly called for his last 79,000 with the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Bonzon only had {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and the {4-Spades} river blanked.

Kempe Doubles Mercier

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Action folded to Rainer Kempe in the small blind and he limped in for 4,000. Big blind Jason Mercier raised to 15,500 and was soon facing a three bet to 40,000 from Kempe. Mercier thought about it for a bit before shoving all in for 185,500. Kempe called.

Jason Mercier: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Rainer Kempe: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Kempe was knocked down to just about 60,000 in chips, while Mercier doubled to 375,000. 2 minutes left on the clock to be able to reenter.

Holz Eliminated

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Byron Kaverman made it 10,000 to go from the hijack, and soon was facing a 58,000 big blind shove from Fedor Holz. With 9 minutes left on the clock to reenter, Kaverman made the call.

Byron Kaverman: {J-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Fedor Holz: {8-Spades}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Holz made his exit.

"Coming back?" Mark Teltscher asked.

"Most likely yes" Holz answered.

Float Goes Wrong for Andronikashvili

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On the three-way flop {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, David Peters led for 15,000 and was called by Dan Shak and Guram Andronikashvili. The {J-Clubs} turn proved to be the money card for Shak, who had flopped bottom set and Andronikashvili made top pair. A bet worth 36,000 was called before the Brit shoved, Peters let go and Shak snap-called.

Andronikashvili: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}
Shak: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The {7-Diamonds} river didn't matter anymore, as Andronikashvili was left drawing dead and covered to exit the tournament area.
