Schemion Left Short

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Cates raised his button to 60,000 and Ole Schemion called from the big blind. Schemion check called 40,000 on {4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, and check called another 138,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn. The {5-Clubs} river saw Schemion check again, with 349,000 behind. Cates asked for a count, and then bet 265,000. Schemion wasn't too thrilled about it all, tanked for a bit, and eventually folded.

Limped Pots to Peters

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski limped in from the small blind and David Peters checked his option in the big blind. Both checked down the {K-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop and {6-Spades} turn, Badziakouski also checked the {5-Hearts} river. Peters then bet 125,000 and Badziakouski needed some time to make up his mind.

He eventually grabbed five green T-25,000 chips and put them over the line, followed by tapping the table when Peters showed {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a pair of nines.

One hand later, Peters limped from the small blind and Michael Bonzon checked. The duo checked the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop and {Q-Spades} turn, Peters bet the {4-Hearts} river and Bonzon snap-folded.

Schemion Knocks Out Watson

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Mike Watson
Mike Watson

Ole Schemion was first to act and made it 85,000. Action folded to Mike Watson and he pushed all in for 413,000 from late position. The button and both blinds released and Schemion asked for a count. He called as soon as he found out.

Ole Schemion: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Mike Watson: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Watson had by far the better hand and things were looking good for him... till the river. The board ran out {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and Watson made his exit.

Last year he finished runner up to Mustapha Kanit in this very event for €672,300, no cash for him this year.

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 80,000 and Murad Akhundov moved all in from the button for 587,000 to enforce a fold.

Then, Michael Bonzon shoved for 368,000 and scooped the blinds and antes before Aidyn Auyezkanov raised to 120,000 soon after. Badziakouski shoved for 502,000 and Auyezkanov stared over to receive smiles from the Belorussian before letting do. Badziakouski showed him the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

Fabian Quoss Eliminates Justin Bonomo

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Action folded to Justin Bonomo in the small blind and he shoved all in for 580,000. Fabian Quoss glanced at his cards, and simply said "Ok, I call."

Fabian Quoss: {J-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Justin Bonomo: {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The flop came {J-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, just about settling it for Quoss. The {J-Clubs} on the turn really sealed it, the {7-Spades} on the river was by far not enough for Bonomo. Down to 13 players.
