Shak vs Lebedev

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Dan Shak had just lost a big pot when paying off the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} of Sergey Lebedev on the river of a board {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and then the Russian raised to 7,500 from under the gun. Shak called and they headed to the {K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop. Shak checked, Lebedev bet 5,000 and then faced a check-raise to 20,000 by Shak.

Lebedev folded and the Russian asked "Revenge?", Shak just laughed. "Revenge, how is that revenge?"

Seidel Busts; Pantling Shoves

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

The struggle of Erik Seidel and his short stack has come to an end while Andrew Pantling just check-raised the {Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} turn from 16,000 to 35,000. Gerard Pique called, then folded to the shove on the {9-Clubs} river. Pantling flashed pocket threes for middle set and both players are now pretty much even in chips.

Chidwick Picks up Andronikashvili's Bluff

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

On the three-way river {K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, David Peters checked in the small blind as did Stephen Chidwick in the hijack. Guram Andronikashvili bet 22,000 from the button and Peters called, Chidwick however looked up his opponent and was shown {J-Spades}{7-Spades} for a failed bluff attempt.

Chidwick flipped over {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and that won the pot.

Akhundov Doubles; Holz Too

Level 6 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Murad Akhundov
Murad Akhundov

Fedor Holz had hit top pair on the flop but Murad Akhundov made a straight on the river to receive a full double up through the German. Holz shoved the next hand for his last 15,000 and Mark Teltscher one seat over gave it some thought before making the call, everyone else folded.

Holz: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Teltscher: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

"That was obvious," Holz said and Teltscher joked back "well I have to create a show." The flop came {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Holz said "that was obvious too" and he held up thanks to the {3-Clubs} turn and {9-Clubs} river.

Level 6 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Aidyn Auyezkanov was first to act and made it 5,000 from first position. It folded around to Isaac Haxton on the button and he three bet to 15,000. Both blinds released, Auyezkanov made the call.

Auyezkanov lead out for 2,500 on {6-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Haxton called. Auyezkanov continued to bet small on the {4-Spades} turn (3,000) and {2-Diamonds} river (2,400). Haxton called his opponent down and showed the winner. Auyezkanov tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, but the pot went to Haxton with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}.

Pantling Doubles Twice

Level 6 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Andrew Pantling
Andrew Pantling

Andrew Pantling had previously doubled up his tiny stack against Thomas Muehloecker and just did so again for 39,700 in a battle of the blinds against the Austrian. Muehloecker's {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades} failed to get there against the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} of Pantling on a board of {Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}, the chips were in preflop.

Soon after, the cards of Mikita Badziakouski were already in the muck and the dealer counted Pantling's stack on the river of a board {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Pantling had shipped another double for 71,000 with {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for two pair and suddenly Badziakouski is now short.

Kho's Boat Gets Paid

Level 6 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Joining the action on the {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} turn, Kitson Kho bet 8,000 in the big blind and Justin Bonomo called. Guram Andronikashvili then made it 18,000 and both his opponents tossed in the extra chips. The {7-Clubs} river was checked to Andronikashvili and he made it 18,000 to go.

Kho check-raised to 77,000 and Bonomo folded, Andronikashvili called after brief consideration to then muck his cards to the {9-Spades}{7-Spades} of his opponent.
