Sammartino Triples

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Dario Sammartino shoved for 115,000 and was called by Murad Akhundov from one seat over before the action reached Fedor Holz on the button. He moved all in and Akhundov folded eventually.

Sammartino: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Holz: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Sammartino tripled, Holz just smiled and once again repeated his "you're welcome Dario."

Leveling War Saves Sammartino

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino shoved for 28,000 from under the gun and Fedor Holz three-bet to 65,000 from the button. Daniel Cates in the big blind four-bet to 180,000 and Holz took plenty of time before making the call. On the {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, Cates pondered about his next move before betting 125,000 only for Holz to spend an equally long time and then raising to 285,000.

Eight minutes after the shove of Sammartino, he would go into showdown as Cates folded.

Sammartino: {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Holz: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {6-Diamonds} turn and {2-Hearts} river had no influence on the outcome of the hand anymore and Sammartino more than tripled up thanks to small blind and antes. "You're welcome Dario," Holz said with a grin.

Vogelsang Doubles Through Sammartino

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Dario Sammartino shoved his short stack in from early position and the action folded to Christoph Vogelsang on the hijack. He asked for a count, then moved in for less than that.

Vogelsang: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Sammartino: {A-Spades}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Vogelsang doubled for 163,000 to leave Sammartino very short.

Kaverman Knocked Out By O'Dwyer

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Byron Kaverman
Byron Kaverman

Steve O'Dwyer opened the action with a raise to 42,000 from middle position. Action folded to big blind Byron Kaverman and he pushed all in for 310,000. O'Dwyer wanted to make sure how much it was, but already informed his opponent he was likely calling. As soon as he found out it was just over 300,000, he did just that.

Steve O'Dwyer: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Byron Kaverman: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop came {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, bringing chop outs for Kaverman. The {7-Clubs} on the turn was a good card for him, but the {A-Hearts} on the river spoiled it. Kaverman made his exit, O'Dwyer up to almost 900,000 again.

Silver and Badziakouski Win Pots

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski faced an open to 50,000 by Steve O'Dwyer and the call by Michael Bonzon. The Belorussian shoved for more than half a million and both of his opponents folded.

One table over, the board was reading {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Fabian Quoss checked. Max Silver bet 110,000 and was called before the {9-Hearts} fell on the river. Again Quoss checked and Silver made it 280,000 to go, eventually enforcing a fold.

Some Small Hands

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Fabian Quoss and Max Silver checked through the {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{A-Hearts} turn before the {J-Hearts} fell on the river. Quoss bet 125,000 into a pot of 210,000 and that won the pot.

David Peters gave up a {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades} turn when Murad Akhundov bet hefty 265,000 and then got the chips back the next hand by raising the button to 50,000. Daniel Cates as well as Dario Sammartino flat-called in the blinds but folded to a continuation bet on the flop {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.
