Kamran Aliyev, who mad equite some buzz on Day 1 of the EPT Dublin Main Event this season, was called out about an hour ago. The player from Azerbaijan just walked into the tournament area to collect his ticket and then said "come on, you can't be doing this to me, it's Saturday, yesterday was Friday," and then admitted he had woken up 40 minutes ago.
"How many chips I got? I hope it's at least 25,000," but then discovered he had around 20,000 when getting to his seat. The first hand, he was in the big blind and let go against a raise.

Dietrich Fast was down to 30 big blinds and lost a flip to table neighbor Vebjorn Monstad with ace-king versus pocket nines.
Monstad was at it again shortly after, creating a big pot of around 25,000 against Pierre Neuville to the 
turn. Monstad then shoved for slightly more than Neuville had behind and the Belgian eventually folded, claiming in table chat he had pocket queens.
