Ruijs Gets a Full House to Fold

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

It isn't easy to lay down a full house, but that was indeed what Gaetano Brignone just managed to do in a pot against Joris Ruis.

On a board of {K-Spades}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} Brignone led out for 16,000 in a pot of 20,000, but he couldn't quite find the call, when the Dutchman moved in over the top for 44,000.

Akenhead Doesn't Fold Under Pressure From Ivarsson

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

On a board of {5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, Alexander Ivarsson check-raised the bet 3,200 bet of James Akenhead to 11,200. Akenhead called.

Yet another bet followed from the Swede on the turn {10-Spades}, this time for 16,500. Akenhead called once more.

River was the {4-Clubs}, and Ivarsson finally slowed down and checked his option. That was a green light for Akenhead, who cut out 27,500 for a hefty river-bet. That was more than Ivarsson could muster, and Akenhead collected the pot.

Nick Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo raised to 2,000 from under the gun and Felix Stephensen three-bet to 5,400 from one seat over. Sebastian Veghinas asked Stephensen for his stack, which the Norwegian replied to "50k, I just started here." Veghinas tanked for another two minutes and called, then Petrangelo asked Stephensen for the stack as well.

Petrangelo four-bet to 17,000 and Stephensen quickly folded, but Veghinas was back in the think tank. The clock was called on him and he folded within 30 seconds after.

Badziakouski's Shove Gets no Call

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Down to just 8,700 chips, Mikita Badziakouski shoved from early position and all opponents including Jorryt van Hoof in the big blind folded. With the new blinds, the Belarusian remains under immediate pressure.

One table over, Koray Aldemir raised and found one caller in Orpen Kisacikoglu on the button. The duo checked the {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop and Aldemir also checked the {9-Spades} on the turn. Kisacikoglu over-bet the pot for 5,800 and Aldemir folded with a confused look at the face after taking off his sunglasses.

One hand later, Kisacikoglu raised to 1,800 and then folded to the three-bet of Ramin Hajiyev for 4,600.

Zisimopoulos Flips Well; Jorgensen Folds

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

Just before the dinner break, Georgios Zisimopoulos doubled through Charlie Carrel with {A-}{K-} versus pocket queens in a battle small blind versus button an ace hit the river.

And then, one last hand was still going on at a different table. On the {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts} turn, Jorryt van Hoof bet 7,800 into around 10,000 from late position and Theo Jorgensen called from the button. On the {5-Diamonds} river, van Hoof instantly shoved and Jorgensen asked for a count. Once it was determined to be 41,250, Jorgensen tank-folded.
