Ole Schemion Eliminated

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Ole Schemion was first to act and shoved for his last 35,000. Over on the button, Paul Newey reshoved. Both blinds released. Schemion showed {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and was trailing against the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} of Newey. The {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs} board favored the latter and Schemion hit the rail.

From the small blind, Justin Bonomo raised to 12,500. Big blind Steve O'Dwyer, the originator of this tournament, shoved all in and Bonomo quickly called before we could count how much the shove was for.

Steve O'Dwyer: {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The board came {K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and O'Dwyer made his exit.

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

And so, plans to break a table are off the table. Play resumes.

Greenwood and Newey Out

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Sam Greenwood moved all in for his last couple of big blinds from the small blind. Big blind Ali Reza Fatehi called with {A-Spades}{2-Spades} and beat Greenwood's {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} on {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

Just moment before, Paul Newey was eliminated by Adrian Mateos. The details of the hand we missed, but we did hear Newey say that it was the third time this week a nine did him in.

A very short break now to break a table.
