Czuczor Extends Chip Lead

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Sergei Petrushevskii kicked off the first hand of the unofficial final table with a bet of 135,000 from under the gun. Marton Czuczor called from the button and everyone else folded.

Petrushevskii led out with a bet of 140,000 on the {6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop and Czoczor called. The {6-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn. Petrushevskii check-called Czuczor's bet for 100,000.

Both players checked after the {Q-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Czoczor was the first player in the tournament to pass 7 million after he turned over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} to beat Petrushevskii who exposed {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

Gang Wang Eliminated in 10th Place (€57,450)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Gang Wang
Gang Wang

Marton Czuczor opened to 130,000 from under the gun and Gang Wang called out of the big blind. On the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop, both players checked. Wang then bet the {5-Diamonds} turn for 130,000 and Czuczor called before Wang shoved the {2-Clubs} river.

Czuczor asked for a count and the shove of Wang was for 1,645,000, far more than the pot. "Why bet so much?" Czuczor asked and was sent into the think tank. After more than two minutes he called and Wang shook his head and turned over his cards.

It was the {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} for a pair of jacks only and Czuczor claimed the pot with {A-Spades}{5-Clubs} for aces and fives to scoop the huge pot. Wang takes home €57,450 for his efforts.

The field has been reduced to the last nine players and they will now redraw to the final table and take a short break to set up everything. Play will continue until the last six have been determined, and there are 15 minutes left in the current level.

Cristinel Dumitru Eliminated in 11th Place (€44,430)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Cristinel Dumitru
Cristinel Dumitru

The action folded to Sam Cohen who bet 2,000,000 from the small blind. The bet more than covered Cristinel Dumitru, who called from the big blind to put his tournament life at risk.

Cohen: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}
Dumitru: {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Dumitru was a slight favorite before the flop, however, after the flop {9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} came out, he was a heavy underdog. Dumitru was drawing dead once the {J-Diamonds} appeared on the turn and began shaking his opponents' hands. The {6-Clubs} completed the board on the river to eliminate Dumitru in 11th place for €44,430.

Cristinel Dumitru's Stack Gets Smaller

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Cristinel Dumitru raised from under the gun for 130,000. The action folded to Sam Cohen who called from the big blind.

Both players checked the {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. Cohen then bet 115,000 when the {8-Clubs} appeared on the turn and Dumitru called.

The {8-Diamonds} on the river paired the board. Cohen peaked at Dumitru's stack of 560,000 chips and effectively put him all in with a bet of 2,000,000. Dumitru folded and Cohen congratulated on his fold, and assured her opponent that an ace was no good.

Andrew Hulme

The next player to lose almost all chips in one hand and bow out the very next is Andrew Hulme.

Hand 1

Sergei Petrushevskii opened to 180,000 from the small blind and Andrew Hulme called in the big blind. On the {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, Petrushevskii continued for 275,000 and Hulme moved all in with the slightly superior stack, Petrushevskii called.

Sergei Petrushevskii: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}
Andrew Hulme: {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The {Q-Hearts} turn and {Q-Spades} river changed nothing and Hulme was reduced to just 130,000, as Petrushevskii doubled for 1,370,000.

Hand 2

One hand later, Petrushevskii raised to 160,000 from the button and Hulme called all in for 120,000. David Lopez Llacer called in the big blind and the remaining duo checked down a board of {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Hulme showed {K-Spades}{4-Hearts}, Lopez Llacer had the {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Petrushevskii finished the job he had started the previous hand by taking the pot with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Marton Czuczor opened to 135,000 and folded to a three-bet by David Lopez Llacer.

One hand later, Andrew Hulme made it 130,000 to go and Gang Wang moved all in for 1,160,000 almost instantly when folded to him. Hulme asked for a count and folded for almost half of his stack.

Hulme then raised to 130,000 and Kiryl Radzivonau three-bet to 335,000 on the button. Czuczor four-bet to 725,000 in the big blind and forced folds all around.

Last but not least, Lopez Llacer raised to 125,000 from the hijack, Radzivonau three-bet to 340,000 from the cutoff and Wang shoved again, this time on the button. Lopez Llacer folded, Radzivonau sighed and asked for a count. The all in was for 1,330,000 and Radzivonau also let go.
