The flop was down , and Joris Ruijs and Gergely Kulcsar checked before the player on the button bet 1,500. Ruijs called before Kulcsar raised to 6,500. The button player folded and Ruijs called.

Both players checked on the turn, and the river fell the .

Ruijs bet 8,500 and Kulcsar went into the tank. A minute passed before he decided to call and mucked after Ruijs tabled for a straight.

Ruijs moved up to 90,000 having jumped in the EPT High Roller after exiting the Main Event in 30th place for €23,740.

Jasper Meijer Van Putten has taken his seat in the €10,300 High Roller. The Dutchman took down the last EPT Prague Main Event in 2016, and yesterday finished second in a €2k side event.

"Congratulations," said tablemate Stefan Huber as Van Putten sat down.

"Thanks," replied Van Putten, before noticing Huber's stack. "I see you have all the chips!"

"They were gifts," said Huber. "Well, two gifts actually. One from the dealer and one from a player. I got Ace-king in against ace-queen. Flop queen-ten...river jack!"

Tahvonen Folds to Wigg Shove

The board was down , and the pot was at 17,000. Anton Wigg checked from early position, and Rauno Tahvonen bet 6,500 from the next seat.

Wigg thought for 30 seconds before he moved all in for around 80,000, and put maximum pressure of Tahvoven who was sat with a 12,000 stack.

Tahvonen went deep into the tank, using three time-extension cards while he mulled over his decision. As the two-minute mark was approaching Tahvonen made his decision and slowly passed his card over the fold line and allowed Wigg to pick up the pot.
