Tsugunari Toma opened the button for 20,000 and big blind Liang Xu three-bet to 69,000 with about 110,000 behind. Toma shoved and Xu called.

Tsugunari Toma: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Liang Xu: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The {J-Clubs} in the window followed by the {7-Spades} and {4-Spades} just about locked it in for Toma.

After the {3-Clubs} hit the turn, the hand was effectively already over. The {9-Diamonds} on the river was just dealt to make things official.

Down to ten players now, four from the money.

Christopher Michael Soyza raised to 13,000 from the cutoff and called a three-bet to 40,000 from Charlie Carrel on the button.

The flop fell {2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and Soyza check-called a 30,000 continuation bet from Carrel.

Both players checked on the {10-Spades} turn card before Soyza checked for the third and final time on the {k-Hearts} river.

Carrel put 105,000 into the middle, and Soyza thought for 20 seconds before he moved his 480,000 stack into the middle.

Carrel snap-called and Soyza announced 'deuce' before he tabled {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Carrel revealed {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the nut flush and secured a full double up to take the overall chip lead.

Timothv Adams
Timothv Adams

Timothy Adam's venture into the €25,000 Single-Day High Roller lasted just a matter of minutes after he lost two big hands against Norbert Szecsi.

Adams recently departed from the Main Event field as was able to jump into the €25,000 Single-Day High Roller at the last minute.

In the first hand, Adams saw his pocket jacks lose against Szecsi who was at risk when Szecsi hit a full house with pocket eights.

In the second hand, Adams moved all in from the cutoff for around 45,000 and Szecsi called from the small blind.

Szecsi held pocket aces, and Adams was far behind with ace-six. The board was no help to Adams and his time in the event came to an end after 20 minutes.
