Soyza Doubles Through Reixach

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Christopher Soyza opened the cutoff for 6,000 and small blind Sergi Reixach three-bet to 20,000. Pardo folded his big blind, Soyza called.

The flop came {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Reixach bet 14,000. Soyza called.

The {6-Clubs} on the turn was checked through and Reixach checked again on the {9-Spades} river. Soyza shoved for 46,000 and Reixach tossed in a chip to call.

Soyza showed {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the winner, Reixach showed {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and mucked.

Morten Klein
Morten Klein

The flop was down {4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, and Morten Klein bet 22,000 from the blinds. Andras Nemeth made the call from the button, and the pair saw the {9-Clubs} turn.

Klein pushed all in for 45,000 and Nemeth snapped him off.

Klein tabled {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for ace high, and was well behind to Nemeth's trips with {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

The river {j-Spades} meant Klein was eliminated and Nemeth moved up to 340,000.

Fast Doubles as Toma Busts

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Tsugunari Toma
Tsugunari Toma

The action folded to Tsugunari Toma on the button, and he raised to 6,000. Dietrich Fast called in the small blind, before Charlie Carrel three-bet to 20,000 from the big blind.

Toma moved all in, and Fast asked for a count, with Toma's stack confirmed at 144,000. Fast called for 140,000 and Carrel went into the tank, thinking out loud before he open folded {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

Tsugunari Toma: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Dietrich Fast: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Board: {8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Toma flopped the flush draw, despite Carrel showing he had folded two diamonds. Fast still had the lead with top pair, however, and after the turn {k-Hearts} and river {9-Hearts} fell, Fast secured the pot for a full double up.

Toma was left with just 2,500 and was eliminated in the very next hand.

Xu Doubles in One of His First Hands

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Liang Xu
Liang Xu

Liang Xu has only just arrived, but he has already received a full double up. He had to get lucky for it, though.

In a blind on blind battle, Steve O'Dwyer (small) and Xu (big) got their chips in before the flop with Xu at riks for his 97,500.

Liang Xu: {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Steve O'Dwyer: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

O'Dwyer had the best of it with the ace-king and would flop a pair as well: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. The {10-Diamonds} on the turn, though, gifted Xu Broadway and the {8-Diamonds} on the river didn't counterfeit his hand.

O'Dwyer down to 43,500, Xu at almost 200,000.
