Grimaldi Eliminated by Peretz

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Pasquale Grimaldi moved all in from early position for 216,000 and it was folded to Yaniv Peretz on the cutoff. He decided to call with the button and the blinds still to act, but they all got out of the way.

Pasquale Grimaldi: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}
Yaniv Peretz: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and it was already over for Grimaldi once the turn came down.

Mancuso Sets the Trap

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The pot already had 120,000 in it and the flop was {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades} when Leonardo Mancuso moved all in from the big blind for 204,000. The action was on the under-the-gun player, Marcin Lesniewski.

He thought about it for a minute before he called with {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} but he was up against {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and the river the {A-Clubs} and Mancuso doubled up.

Schaap With Quads

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The board was {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Ad Schaap put in a bet of 59,000 from the big blind. The player in the cutoff, Slavomir Byrtus, called to see the river.

The {4-Spades} completed the board and Schaap put in another bet. This time the sizing was 110,000 and it took about a minute before he was called by Byrtus.

Schaap tabled {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the absolute stone-cold nuts and he took down the pot.

Cooler For Traply

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Peter Traply completed his small blind and Bryan Paris raised to 70,000 in the big blind. Traply shoved for around 460,000 and Paris snap-called, flipping his cards over immediately.

Peter Traply: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Bryan Paris: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The whole table exclaimed: "wow!" when they saw their cards.

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for Paris' pocket kings to hold and eliminate Traply from the tournament.

Salvatore & Riess Out

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Giovanni Salvatore was all in and at risk when he put his last 180,000 in the middle with {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. He was put at risk by Francois Evard with {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

The {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{J-Spades} flop brought plenty of opportunities for a chop pot and the {K-Spades} turn even more. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Salvatore thought for a couple seconds that the two would chop the pot, but he realized that he just busted out of the tournament.

A couple of hands later it was Ryan Riess who also was sent to the rail when he could not win a flip with ace-queen against pocket fives.
