Bojang Wins Soms

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ismael Bojang raised to 2,000 from the cutoff and was called by the players on the button and in the big blind. The flop came {2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades}, the big blind checked, Bojang continued with a bet of 2,700 and both of his opponents folded.

Shortly after that hand, Bojang raised to 2,200 from mid-position and was called by the player in the hijack. Matthias De Meulder three-bet to 9,500 from the small blind and Chris Da-Silva was sitting in the big blind. Da-Silva considered his options for a while but then folded. Bojang then shoved for both the hijack and De Meulder to fold.

Cooler Sees Samuel Soar

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

It was all in on a turn of {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} with Palot Samuel holding {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for top set against the rather unfortunate Ghassan Abou Khalil holding {4-}{4-} for bottom set.

There was no miracle river card for Khalil with the board completing with the {8-Spades} and he was left short as Samuel soared over 200,000 in chips.

Takeda Takes From Sow

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

On a {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs} flop Miku Takeda checked to 2017 PSC Prague Main Event champion Kalidou Sow who bet 2,600. Takeda check-raised to 5,800 and Sow called.

The turn was the {k-Clubs}. Takeda bet 12,000 and Sow called.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Takeda bet another 12,000. Sow tanked and then called.

Takeda turned over {j-Hearts}{3-Spades} for trip threes and that was good enough to take down the pot.

Feenstra Doubles Through Roshanfekr

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Rens Feenstra limped in from the button and Kayhan Mokri Roshanfekr completed his small blind. The player in the big blind opted to check.

The flop came down {7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}, both Roshanfekr and the big blind checked. Feenstra bet 800, Roshanfekr raised to 2,300. The big blind folded, Feenstra three-bet to 5,600, Roshanfekr four-bet shoved with the bigger stack and Feenstra snap-called for the 15,000 he had in total.

Rens Feenstra: {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Kayhan Mokri Roshanfekr: {4-Spades}{3-Spades}

Feenstra had flopped trip eights and Roshanfekr was hoping for a flush draw to increase his chip lead.

The rest of the board was completed with the {2-Hearts} on the turn and the {7-Diamonds} on the river to improve Feenstra's trips to a full house to double up. With 220,000 in chips, Roshanfekr is still cheap leading Day 1b for now.
