The action folded to Viktor Aakerlund in the small blind and he pushed all in for 52,500. Big blind Jussi Nevanlinna tanked for some time before he slammed a tower of 5,000-chips in the middle to indicate the call.

Ramzey Idriss had checked and Emil Patel had put in a bet which was bigger than the pot. Idriss responded with a shove for 235,500 which Patel snap-called.

They had both turned the flush with Idriss having the better hand with the ace. The only card that could help Patel avoid having to pay Idriss the double-up was the
but the
on the river wasn't that. The dealer counted out Idriss' stack once more for Patel to see. Patel was left with around 54,000 after paying Idriss.

We ran into last night's €25,000 Single-Day High Roller Thomas Boivin who told us "just a flip" when we asked him how his tournament had come to an end. Boivin won't be alone on the rail, the following players have been eliminated as well:

Anton Wigg, owner of one of the biggest stacks in the room, opened the cutoff for 6,000. His neighbor Jia Tang on the button called before small blind Salvatore Bonavena folded. Armin Mette squeezed to 27,000 from the big blind and Wigg called after having confirmed how much he started the hand with.
Tang now shoved, putting his entire 174,000 in the middle. Mette folded right away.
"I didn't expect that, how much is it?" Wigg asked.
When he got the answer, he eventually reluctantly folded. Tang quietly mucked.
