Peters Jams Into Jiang; Dinner Break

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Honglin Jiang raised to 110,000 with the {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} in the last hand before dinner and David Peters three-bet small out of the cutoff to 285,000 with the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. On the {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Jiang checked and Peters moved all in to forced a fold from Jiang.

Right after the players headed into a 60-minute dinner break.

Schemion Sticks and Misses

Patrik Antonius

Patrik Antonius made it 120,000 with {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} in the cutoff and Ole Schemion called {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} on the button. Both found something on the {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop; Antonius bet 200,000 and Schemion called.

On the {5-Clubs} turn, Antonius fired a hefty 600,000 into the 790,000 pot, leaving himself with 660,000 behind. Schemion, with straight and flush draws, came along with the call.

Schemion didn't get there as the {4-Diamonds} came off on the river and he quickly folded to a shove from Antonius.

Schemion Gets Some Chips Back

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ole Schemion raised to 135,000 with the {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and was called by Javier Fernandez on the button with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and David Peters in the big blind with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. The trio checked the {J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and Schemion then bet the {7-Spades} turn for 310,000, which was enough to claim the pot right there.

Straight for Peters

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ole Schemion raised to 135,000 with the {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and was called by David Peters out of the small blind, holding the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}, and Krisztian Gyorgyi with the {A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} in the big blind.

The flop of {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop was checked to Schemion and he continued for 125,000, which only Peters called. The {5-Spades} turn and {J-Clubs} river brought no betting action and Peters raked in the pot.

Gyorgyi Jams Seven Deuce and Shows the Bluff

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Krisztian Gyorgyi

Tomas Jozonis made it 125,000 on the button with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and Krisztian Gyorgyi in the small blind three-bet to 360,000 with {7-Clubs}{2-Spades}, Jozonis elected to call. Gyorgyi put on his hoodie before the flop fell {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Gyorgyi continued for 500,000, Jozonis called with the gutshot and nut flush draw.

The {4-Clubs} appeared on the turn and Gyorgyi moved all in for 1.52 million. Jozonis folded and tapped the table, and he was then shown the bluff by the Hungarian.

Gyorgyi high-fived with Ole Schemion and Patrik Antonius, the latter said "this is good for TV." Jozonis was left grinning and Schemion burst out in laughter.

"This is respect, you have to have some balls," Antonius added and Gyorgyi replied "thank you." Antonius continued "this is balls," to which Javier Fernandez said "this is more than balls."

Last but not least, Antonius nailed it with "this is a little bit crazy, too."

Antonius Takes the Chip Lead from Schemion

While the players were still talking and laughing about Krisztian Gyorgyi's epic seven-deuce play the hand before, another big hand happened straight afterwards. It got folded around to the blinds, where Patrik Antonius completed the small blind with {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Ole Schemion checked {Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

The flop {3-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} gave Antonius middle set and Schemion bottom pair. The Fin bet 100,000 and Schemion called.

A disastrous turn rolled off for Schemion when the {3-Clubs} landed on the turn. Antonius bet 250,000, Schemion raised to 665,000, Antonius three-bet to 1,300,000 and Schemion called after some thought.

The {7-Diamonds} landed on the river and Antonius moved in for his last 1,070,000 into the 2,980,000 pot. Schemion was visibly unpleased with the situation but called it off after taking some time. Antonius showed him the bad news and is now the new chipleader at the final table.

Schemion Jams and Leaves Saleh Short

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Patrik Antonius raised to 120,000 on the button with the {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Ole Schemion in the small blind called with {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}, Sadri Saleh came along from the big blind with {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The flop fell {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Schemion checked, Saleh bet 205,000 and picked up a call by Schemion only.

After the {8-Spades} turn, Schemion improved to a flush and bet 340,000, Saleh raised to 800,000 and left himself 560,000 behind. Schemion was having none of it and moved all in, Saleh folded and dropped to the very bottom of the counts.
