Sow Folds the River

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The action was opened from a player in early position with a raise to 1,700 and Kalidou Sow three-bet to 4,800 from middle position. The rest of the table folded and the intail raiser made the call. Both players checked on the {2-Clubs}{k-Spades}{8-Spades} flop and on the {5-Spades} turn Sow called a 4,500 bet.

The river came the {4-Spades}, and Sow saw his opponent bet over the pot for 25,000. The 2017 PokerStars Championship Prague Main Event winner have his decision 30-seconds of thought before he opted to let his hand go.

Dalessio Spikes a King to Survive

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

The action folded around to Ferdinando Dalessio on the button, and he moved all in for around 5,500. The player in the big blind made the call, and Dalessio saw he was in bad shape.

Ferdinando Dalessio: {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Opponent: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Board: {3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The flop gave Dalessio a glimmer of hope when he hit a pair, and he was on his feet and ready to depart the table before the river card was revealed to be the king of spades to give him a higher two pair and a lifeline. In the very next hand, Dalessio three-bet all in and collected the pot preflop to increase his stack further.
