Folch Exits

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

The action folded to Francesc Pallares Folch in early position and he moved all in for 690,000. Vitaly Karayan called from middle position and the rest of the table folded.

Francesc Pallares Folch: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Vitaly Karayan: {k-}{k-}

Teunis Scoops A Monster Pot from Rodrigues

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Jan Teunis & Luis Rodriguez Cruz
Jan Teunis & Luis Rodriguez Cruz

Julien Martini raised to 160,000 from under the gun, Jan Teunis three-bet to 450,000, Luis Rodriguez Cruz four-bet to 950,000, Martini folded and Teunis called.

The flop was {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Teunis checked. Rodriguez continued for 850,000, Teunis check-minraised to 1,700,000, Rodriguez shoved for 4,530,000 and Teunis called all in for 4,460,000, creating an 11 million chip pot just like that.

Jan Teunis: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Luis Rodriguez Cruz: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

It was a cruel moment for Rodrigues as Teunis had outflopped him with the nines, leaving the Spaniard drawing very slim. Neither the {2-Clubs} turn nor {4-Clubs} river helped him and he was left with a mere 70,000. Teunis, from Holland, suddenly became the overwhelming chipleader with 39 players remaining.

Meran was miles ahead with his pair of queens but received an extra sweat on the turn when the {8-Hearts} hit the felt. Faria needed a nine of heart to end Meran's run in the National and did just that as the {Q-Hearts} rolled off on the river. Meran finished in 43rd place and received €9,500.

Also recently departed from the Day 3 field is the U.K.'s Alex Lindop, who also banked €9,500.

Ludovic Geilich opened the action with a raise to 175,000 from middle positon and saw Adria Maria Balaguer move all in for 15.m from the button. Rui Bouquet was in the small blind with just 400,000 after he got confirmation of Balaguer's chip count he also moved all in.

The Next Three to Fall

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ivan Fano Alvarez was the next casualty of the day and he was quickly followed by Lior Shabtay and Joao Rodrigues Manana.

Shabtay got his short stack of around 450,000 in with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and was called by Vitaly Karayan in the big blind.

Lior Shabtay: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Vitaly Karayan: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The board came {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Shabtay was drawing dead on the turn.

Only moments later, Rodrigues Manana pushed from the small blind and Sammy Berrehail called in the big blind.

Joao Rodrigues Manana: {J-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Sammy Berrehail: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop was as bad as it could get for the Spaniard, and the {4-Hearts} turn left him drawing dead to make the {J-Clubs} river a formality.
