Addamo Gets Paid Off

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with a monotone board of {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, Bryn Kenney checked from the big blind. Michael Addamo tossed in a bet of 26,000 into a pot of around 35,000 and Kenney called.

The {3-Spades} on the river didn't change the complexion of the board and Kenney checked again. Addamo made another bet of 60,000 this time and Kenney looked him up. Addamo tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a queen-high flush and Kenney mucked his cards.

Vieira's Kicker Plays

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Sergio Aido raised to 7,000 in middle position and Joao Vieira three-bet to 24,500 on his left. The action folded back to Aido who called to see a flop of {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Aido checked to Vieira who continued for 12,500 and Aido called. The turn was the {10-Hearts} which slowed the action as both players knuckled the table. The river was the {k-Spades} and both players quickly checked again. Aido tabled {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} but Vieira showed {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a better kicked to claim the pot.
