Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

Oleh Okhotskyi raised it up and Martin Jacobson defended from the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Jacobson check-called a bet of 18,000 from Okhotskyi.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Jacobson checked again. Okhotskyi fired out another bet of 30,000 and Jacobson check-raised all in for around 130,000. Okhotskyi thought for a moment and then called.

Jacobson showed {k-}{10-Spades} while Okhotskyi held {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a flopped straight. Jacobson could not find a chop on the river and headed to the payout desk.

Beresford Dominated by van Hoof

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded to Parker Talbot on the button who made it 23,000 to go. Conor Beresford pushed all in for 192,000 in the small blind and Jorryt van Hoof re-shoved all in from the big blind. Talbot quickly folded and the two hands were tabled.

Jorryt van Hoof: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Conor Beresford: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Beresford was in a dominated position and the board of {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts} left him drawing dead by the turn.

Miles and Chen Take Part in Sending Chien Out

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Just moments after sending a double up to Tony Miles, Peter Chien was back in another pot but things were not looking good for him. Chien opened from the hijack and James Chen just called on the button. The flop came {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and the two players got all of the chips in the middle with Chien being at risk for around 140,000.

James Chen: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Peter Chien: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Chien needed to catch one of two remaining jacks in the deck in order to stay alive. The {8-Spades} and the {8-Hearts} runout would not work out for him and his chips headed across the table to Chen.
