Soyza Holds Against Greenwood

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Michael Soyza raised it up on the button and Luc Greenwood moved in a stack of 25,000 chips from the big blind. Soyza called off his last 178,000 and the cards were face up.

Michael Soyza: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Luc Greenwood: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop left Soyza in the lead with his ace-high. The {4-Hearts} on the turn and the {2-Spades} on the river missed Greenwood completely and Soyza scooped a double up.

Hero Call from Ferreira

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A completed board of {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} was spread across the felt with around 130,000 in the middle. Rui Ferreira checked from the big blind and Sergi Reixach announced all in from middle position. Ferreira had a decision to make for his remaining 117,000 chips.

Ferreira struggled to come to the right decision, tossing in one time bank after another, using five of them in total. Eventually, Ferreira announced a call and Reixach showed {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a missed straight and flush draw. Ferreira turned over {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for bottom pair and earned the pot.
