Simon Brandstrom won a pot with an ace but had to forfeit his big blind and big blind ante the next hand when Marton Czuczor raised it up with the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Brandstrom raised the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Czuczor folded a fice-high in the big blind.

No flop followed in the next hand and Brandstrom then raised to 500,000 with the {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, Czuczor three-bet to 1,600,000 with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Brandstrom made the call.

The flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} gave both players top pair and Czuczor continued for 2,100,000, Brandstrom called. The {9-Diamonds} followed on the turn and Czuczor checked, as did Brandstrom.

After the {q-Hearts} river, Brandstrom improved to a straight and Czuczor bet 1,500,000, Brandstrom tossed in a single chip for the call and won the pot.

Marton Czuczor opened to 600,000 with the {j-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Simon Brandstrom called with the {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. The flop came {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Brandstrom check-folded to a bet worth 1,000,000.

Brandstrom then raised to 500,000 with {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Czuczor defended the {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. On a {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, Czuczor checked and Brandstrom made it 500,000 to go in order to win the pot.

Czuczor raised to 600,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Brandstrom three-bet to 2,000,000 with {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Czuczor eyeballed the stack of his opponent and four-bet to 4,400,000, which ended the hand right there.

Czucuzor Wins Most Of The Pots

Simon Brandstrom min-raised to 500,000 {7-Spades}{3-Spades} in the small blind and Marton Czuczor folded the {6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} in the big blind.

Czuczor raised to 600,000 with the {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Brandstrom called with {j-Spades}{10-Spades} to see the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop, on which Brandstrom checked. Czuczor tossed in a continuation bet of 400,000 and that did the trick to force a fold from Brandstrom.

Brandstrom limped the {4-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Czuczor raised to 1,000,000 with {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} to win the pot.

Czuczor raised the {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} in the small blind and won the pot.

Brandstrom raised to 500,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Czuczor defended the {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Both checked the {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and the {2-Clubs} fell on the turn. No betting action followed and the {j-Clubs} river improved Czuczor, and he bet 800,000 to win the pot without resistance.

Simon Brandstrom held {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} on the button and limped in. Czuczor had {8-Spades}{5-Spades} in the big blind and raised to 1,000,000. Brandstrom called. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, Czuczor picked up the open-ended straight draw but kept Brandstrom ahead. Czuczor continued with a bet of 1,500,000 and Brandstrom folded.

Czuczor raised to 600,000 on the button with {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Brandstrom called with {q-Spades}{8-Spades}. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for them both to hit top pair. Both players checked through to the {4-Clubs} on the turn for Czuczor to make two pair. Brandstrom led out for 1,000,000 and Czuczor raised to 3,000,000. Brandstrom made the call to see the {3-Spades} complete the board. Brandstrom checked for the last time. Czuczor took a bit of time and then bet 6,200,000. Brandstrom called to see he lost a huge chunk of his stack.

The flop came {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}, Brandstrom checked and so did Czuczor to see the {k-Clubs} on the turn. Brandstrom checked again. Czuczor bet 500,000 which Brandstrom called.

The river completed the board with the {a-Spades} to give Czuczor the flush. Brandstrom checked for the last time, Czuczor now bet 1,800,000. Brandstrom believed him and let the hand go.

Rui Sousa Eliminated in 3rd Place (€607,400)

Simon Brandstrom raised to 525,000 from the button with {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Rui Sousa defended his big blind holding {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} for Sousa to hit top pair. Sousa quickly checked and Brandstrom continued with a bet of 500,000. Sousa looked at Brandstrom and then announced he wanted to raise to 1,400,000 before putting the chips in. Brandstrom glanced at the board and Sousa a few times before announcing he was all-in. Sousa looked at his cards once more and then made the call for the 6,625,000 he had behind.

The Sousa-rail aksed for the {10-Spades} but instead, the turn was the {7-Hearts} which kept Brandstrom ahead.

The river completed the board with the {4-Diamonds} to seal the deal to send Sousa out of the Main Event in third place for €607,400.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and both players checked through to the {8-Spades} on the turn. Sousa checked again and Brandstrom took a few seconds, then bet 600,000 for Sousa to give up on the hand immediately.

Marton Czuczor raised to 550,000 on the button with {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Brandstrom defended his big blind while holding {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, Brandstrom quickly checked and Czuczor continued with a bet of 375,000. Brandstrom glanced at the board and decided to let his hand go.

Sousa raised to 550,000 from the button with {a-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Brandstrom three-bet to 2,000,000 in the small blind with {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Marton Czuczor found {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} in the big blind. Czuczor asked how much Brandstrom had behind and then looked at his cards once more before four-bet shoving. Both Sousa and Brandstrom quickly folded.

Up next it was Czuczor in the small blind with {10-Spades}{8-Clubs} and limped in, Rui Sousa checked his option with the {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} in the big blind. Czuczor checked the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop and a bet of Sousa won the pot.

Sousa limped the small blind with {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Brandstrom in the big blind raised with the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} to shut down all further action.

Sousa opened the button to 550,000 with the {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Brandstrom in the small blind three-bet to 2,000,000 with the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Sousa called and the flop came {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, which resulted in a bet of 800,000 by Brandstrom. Sousa raised to 1,900,000 and Brandstrom called.

The {9-Spades} followed on the turn and both players checked to the {9-Diamonds} river. Brandstrom made it 1,100,000 to go and Sousa sent his cards into the muck.
